"After spending 6 days in the wilderness, it was awesome to stop by this place for some rest and recuperation! The rooms were newly renovated and clean. Slept well in a very quiet place. My only complaint was that there was NO breakfast. When I made the reservation, breakfast was indicated. When I arrived, something about new management was mentioned and that had been removed. "

"The property was clean, well-maintained, and comfortable throughout our stay. The owners—a delightful couple—were accommodating and genuinely pleasant, adding a personal touch that made us feel welcome. One of the highlights was spending time on the back deck, which offered stunning views of the mountains and unforgettable sunsets, all accented by the charm of hummingbirds and wild turkeys in the yard.
There was one minor drawback: the bedroom floor squeaked noticeably with each step, occasionally waking my wife in the morning. While this didn’t detract from the overall experience, addressing the issue would make future stays even more restful. "
"The Homewood Suite have a good location it's not far from downtown is like 10 minutes or less driving. I like this property because it has almost everything you need like you have a grill on the patio if you want to cook something outside for you or your family or friends. In the room have small little kitchen where you have a regular big size refrigerator, small electric stove, big microwave, and you have a dishwasher in case you use the plates or cups from the room is almost to be at home. They have a good morning breakfast and while they don't have a fitness center onsite, they provide free access to the well-equipped Durango Rec Center just a mile down the street - if you're looking for weights or some post-hiking light exercises.
