" Very nice historical hotel but with modern amenities. Smaller room but excellent staff, good free breakfast and fantastic location by the waterfront and downtown Orillia. Lots of dining and shopping around the hotel. Free hotel parking was great."
"Second time we’ve stayed and we’d stay again. Rooms are dated but spacious, clean and beds are comfortable but the parking isn’t the best when you come in later at night. "

"Very clean, no strange smells or anything inside the room. I felt comfortable enough to walk around the room in socks instead of shoes. Breakfast included sausage, egg, baked home fries, waffle maker, oatmeal packs, fancier pastries, etc. Good selection, though my dad wasn’t impressed with the eggs and it took them a while to refill.

"The cable service to the television did not work properly, only 9 channels out of 49 listed on the cable tv chart worked. I needed news on channels like ABC , KTLA, CNN or FOX or a number of others but none of these channels operated. I called the front desk. The agent said she needed to reset the server and would call me back. I waited a 1/2 hour but NO call back. I called again and the same agent said she couldn't fix it and needed to tell her manager tomorrow.

We couldn't hear the ppl in the next room and the hotel is right beside the highway HOWEVER you cannot hear it in your room. I'd definitely stay here again!!
