"We booked the Queen Deluxe rooms on the 7th to 14th floor. Our jaws literally dropped as we entered and saw the incredible view of the Jungfrau from our balcony. It was breathe taking. The room was very spacious, recently updated, modern, and clean. We found the beds to be comfy. There’s no AC here, but a tower fan was provided and we stayed comfortable with that and leaving the sliding door open to catch the mountain breeze. (Mid July) The balcony is completely private - enjoy the views of the distant mountains and the green space below. Location is central and the upper floors take advantage of being one of the only high rise buildings in Interlaken. Elevators require room keys to use which added extra safety for such a busy city. (Although we never felt unsafe anywhere in Interlaken). There’s a lounge with a tap for filling water bottles and a machine for coffee and tea. The desk staff were incredibly friendly. We stored our luggage prior to check in, they brought our bags up after check in, and at check out they gave us bottled waters. Honestly, my only negative experience here was that the coffee from the lounge machine was not good. "

" I stayed at Hotel Edelweiss from July 23 to 26 and had a very peaceful and pleasant experience.Everything was clean, functional, and thoughtfully managed. The room was quiet and comfortable, perfect for unwinding after a full day in the mountains. The team was kind and welcoming, which really added a warm touch to the stay. There’s a common area where guests can enjoy free coffee, tea, and water — a nice gesture even though these aren’t available in-room. The location is good, with lovely views and a calm atmosphere, though do keep in mind there’s a short but steep uphill walk (around 7 minutes) from the train station. Breakfast was modest but enough to start the day. Overall, a great choice if you’re looking for a clean, quiet, and budget-friendly base in Wengen. I appreciated the hospitality and would gladly return."

"Everything about the property fit, what we were hoping for. It was conveniently located, the room was comfortable and pristine, and the food was plentiful and excellent. The two things that went above and beyond our expectations for the staff and the sauna. I can’t say enough about the staff. Every person we met was cheerful and extremely helpful. As for the sauna, it was a magnificent and always empty, perhaps because it’s hidden away a bit. I cannot recommend this property highly enough for a stay in Grindelwald."

"This is my second visit to this beautiful hotel! When I arrived yesterday, I was warmly greeted by Carolina, who remembered me from my stay in February. Her customer service is truly outstanding, and she made me feel so welcome. The room was ready, and I was overwhelmed with joy with the beauty of my room, with a beautiful view of the lake. Hotel Belvedere has a lovely lido, where you can sunbathe n enjoy swimming in the lake. The pool and wellness center is gorgeous. The staff is amazing, and I hope to return to this beautiful hotel every year. Thank you Carolina, and entire staff for making this feel like a second home in Switzerland!"

"3rd floor has great views of JUNGFRAU. The location is excellent as it is just beside the Grindelwald Terminal ( no noise from trains at all). Very clean and modern looking interior."

She gave me a tour of the beautiful hotel, and then gave me my room early, as it was ready. I was overwhelmed how beautiful my room was. The view of the mountains gorgeous, and the bed, heavenly! "This little gem of a hotel was perfect for a stay in Interlaken. It’s a short walk from the Interlaken West train station and close to everything! Only downside is it was hot and there is no AC … but if you want an authentic alps experience it’s worth it! "

"We visited at the end of April when this hotel was still under construction. It was a minor inconvenience as we paid for a “garden view” when the view was a complete construction zone. They did upgrade our room size because of this. That being said, the restaurant was fantastic and the staff were very friendly. We stayed 2 nights and ate at the restaurant both nights. Their buffet breakfast is also amazing. Seeing that the hotel is no longer under construction, I would definitely stay here again. "

"This hotel is literally next door to the train station which runs Panoramic express trains every hour. It's really quiet in the rooms and you cannot hear the trains at all. It's super convenient to get to Lucerne or Interlaken. The hotel location itself in Lungern is so beautiful and definitely worth exploring and spending a day there too! The room was lovely and modern, had a stunning view of the mountains and the cleanliness and hygiene were of five star quality. The breakfast rooms were really spacious with a lovely design. Every morning we were greeted with a very welcoming bright smile from the staff who serve you a hot drink before you help yourself to the breakfast buffet. The place gave the best value for money and I would definitely stay here again!! "
