"Our stay at The July was beyond excellent. Exceeded our expectations. We met family in Amsterdam and they all stayed in the busy museum district. We had wanted something more like a neighborhood that was more relaxing. This spot is perfect for that. We did walk a lot and use ubers. We averaged about $40 on ubers but our stay was still less than our family who stayed in tiny rooms and didn't have to use Ubers. You can also use public transportation for a fraction of the cost. We are a bit pampered! The rooms were so lovely and spacious. Having a way to make a few meals really saved money and was so handy. The staff at the hotel are beyond accommodation. We loved our experience."

We found it very easy to find with a short bus ride from Centraal Station.
The location is ideal, with Westerpark a short walk away.
The free use of the swimming pool was such a bonus we had so much fun relaxing by the pool and cooling off.
The staff were so friendly and helpful, the area was immaculate, the rooms were spacious and bright, with blackout curtains which helped to have a restful morning.
The fridge and coffee machine in the room were much needed additions and allowed us to save money by taking a coffee out with us and storing food to make packed lunches for the day.
We had no problems with the WiFi and the TV in the room had channels with English speaking shows.
The breakfast was superb, everything cooked to perfection and stock was frequently replenished. The dining area was clean and bright.
The beds were so comfy, especially the pillows. I had asked for an extra pillow prior to check-in and this was ready and waiting.
I feel this hotel goes above and beyond to make your stay relaxing, by providing everything you could possibly need and with very friendly staff.
I cannot imagine staying anywhere else for all future visits!! "
