"It’s a few blocks off the tourist trail but the bars and pier is easily accessible. Local options even closer. Clean and comfortable room, decent shower and terrace is a nice touch. Wifi patchy but that’s island-wide. Friendly staff, recommended."

"Pros: The room serves its purpose and I liked it. Cons: When I got there they said my reservation did not appear in their system. You have to pay in cash only. The area around the property felt a little unsafe and there was a cockroach in my room. "

"Basic hotel, fine for 1-2 nights. Out of the tourist strip but in a good area for street food, markets & local shops. Bonus it had a lift which many hotels in the Galapagos didn’t seem to have, also free drinking water."

"When I arrived, there was no one to check me in. I had to call someone. The manager arrived 30 minutes later. The room itself was OK, comfortable enough and clean, and my bed was made every day. The location is good. Easy walking distance to anywhere. The hot water was not automatic and I had to request it be turned on. The shower was average, at best. Breakfast was good; continental style. Security was fine. I would possibly stay there again, but it's good to have low expectations."

The hotel organized our transportation to and from the airport, which was nice because it involved a car, water taxi, and bus.
