"Takarazuka Hotel looks like an estate in Europe, fitting in with the Takarazuka atmosphere. I loved just being in the hotel no matter what I was doing.
The breakfast buffet was lovely."

"Stayed one night as part of our honeymoon. Staff was incredibly friendly and accommodated my nut allergy! Justin even helped us make a dinner reservation in town. Private onsen was also amazing. Just a really great experience overall!"

"Clean rooms, friendly and English speaking staff. Breakfast buffet included and has a large section of eastern and western food. Sometimes the buffet is crowded. It was really convenient that the airport bus stopped here and the train station is here as well."

"Two in-hotel hot tubs were small but clean. Rooms were also comfortable. Staff was helpful during check in but what struck me most was when we were leaving two employees came out and bowed to us. Really surprised me even after multiple trips to Japan. Would live again if I ever find myself in Arima Onsen again :)"

"This Ryokan does not do food of any kind. Inaccurate description on expedia.
It is close to everything in the area..
Yukatas provided are quite small.
Onsen is small but adequate.
Bit wear and tear but expected for old building.
Staff where polite and helpful.

"So this is basically a sex hotel and it is far away from downtown. For some reason the last bus never showed up so it was an expensive taxi.
The room smelled like cigarette smoke, and one of the neighbors sang karaoke until around 1:00 am.
There air con did not work well either so it was a smelly, hot, loud room."

"We had a great stay at this hotel! It's very clean and located in a charming, tourist-friendly neighborhood with plenty of restaurants and stores nearby. The nearest subway station is about a 10-minute walk away, making it easy to get around.
The hotel provides all the essential amenities like toothbrushes, toothpaste, a shaver, sponge, and hairbrush. One of the highlights was the complimentary self-service station available until midnight—it offers sweet and sour snacks, coffee, latte, tea, matcha, soda, and even small servings of free ice cream. Such a thoughtful touch!
There are two coin-operated laundry machines (washer and dryer) located on the second floor for guest use. I used them in the late evening without any issue, though I can imagine they might be busier during the day.
The only downside we experienced was that the AC wasn’t cold enough on our first night. However, we reported it to the front desk, and they promptly adjusted the settings for our room. So if you prefer cooler temperatures, I’d recommend mentioning that when you check in.
Overall, this hotel offers great value and convenience. I’d definitely stay here again and recommend it to others!"
"Hotel staff was nice and helpful. Breakfast buffet was good. Room was a bit small, but not bad when compared to other Japanese hotels. Good location across the street from the train station."
"One of the best hotels I’ve stayed at, total pleasure. All other hotels will not and can not compare at this price point, period. This is the standard when it comes to family accommodations! "
"Bonus: free coffee 6am-7am, happy hour 5pm-7pm (free drinks with snacks), Ochazuke 8pm-10pm (free simple rice dish made by pouring tea over cooked rice, with toppings of your choice - Salmon, squid, seaweed, pickled vegetables, etc). Great features! Location is great and lots of dining options close by! "
"Stayed three nights during World Expo. Breakfast was spectacular, huge assortment of hot and cold foot items, breads, soups, meats, seafood, salads, fruits, I can’t even name them all. Great for if you want to try new foods as well. The drink options were even spectacular, with more than basic water and coffee/tea. There were some free perks after certain times, I think I tried a cold noodle dish after a certain time and it wasn’t bad.
The room was clean, bed comfortable, there was a foot massager, no onsen, but nice shower. "
