"After a very tiring couple of days, I was so glad I picked this hotel to retire to. Right next to the Shinkansen station but quiet and spotlessly clean with a great sized room this was the perfect business hotel. "

"This is a bit run down onsen hotel but still has an old charm.
Onsen is, quite naturally, very nice. It has very open rotenburo (outdoor onsen). Only drawback is wooden wall which blocks lake view.
Dinner and breakfast, with buffet style, was just plain.
Overall, it is ok, not great."

"no wifi in all floor or rooms except the lobby, it is outdated of without wifi. The dinning room is noisy and little messy due to some self control of customers. publice bath is good.
But I will not come again."

"The people is extremely warm and welcoming, including reception and the lady serving us from check in to dining. The young lady can speak english, we have a great time there. We use the public onsen before dinner so there are not much people. The private onsen in the room also great, but will be a bit small if two people bath together. Will definitely recommend this place to people who want to experience Japanese traditional onsen culture and dining. "

"This hotel was a wonderful place to stay in Kanazawa. The room was compact but thoughtfully laid out, convenient, and quiet. The breakfast buffet was especially good, with lots of Japanese foods, esepcially local specialties. Staff were excellent and helpful."
"Excellent place to stay, very roomy room, staff pleasant, afternoon snacks & drink very welcomed. Not too many places to dine, but one at kitty corner was very good and pleasant. "
"Exceptionally helpful and professional staff that really make you feel like a valued guest. The traditional Taisho style room was suite the experience, like stepping into a nostalgic dream every evening. "
"We want to give the hotel Onyado Nono Kanazawa natural hot spring more than five stars. We were greeted with “Have a nice day” and “welcome back” with the staff’s smiles during our stay. The place was lovely and clean, and it came with lots of extras. Room wear and bath amenities were available for the stay. We used them to go into a spacious hot spring. Free ice cream or a probiotic drink after the hot bath was provided. The hotel also offered a free half-bowl of delicious ramen as a night snack. The hotel also provided free washing machines ( dryers pay $1 for 20 20-minute cycles) so we could have clean clothes on our trip. The areas in the hotel were beautifully decorated, emphasizing Japan's beauty.
We enjoyed the morning breakfast buffet with fresh seafood and other delicious dishes.
We hope to come back and use the hotel. "
"Hard to find places to eat due to limited hours tbat was our main struggle but the hotel was geeat
They had two restaurants but one was always closed and tge other was liminted hours"
"Great place to stay, 1 min walk from train station. Staff had good recommendations for places to eat nearby, lots of good food options at train station itself or within hotel and not far from Omicho market. Appreciated eco push - water bottles with refill stations on the floor. The rooftop champagne was really nice too."
"Comfortable stay in Kanazawa, at a very reasonable price. The room was a bit cramped, but that's not surprising once I learned how hotels are typically structured in most Japanese cities."
