It's walkable to the to the old town which was quite quaint and full of friendly locals! Would highly suggest this property if youre looking to explore the region and need a place to stay. "

"The hotel was exceptional, with high quality finishes, bed linen etc. Excellent breakfast. They kindly upgraded our room. Approx 10 -15 min walk into centre. Local area not great. Good secure parking inside grounds and underground. Nice grounds but be prepared with insect repellent. Could be utilised more and maybe add jacuzzi or similar. Would recommend."

"Perfect location to stop, rest, re-energise if travelling on A1 motorway. We stopped at this hotel for one night with my wife and my daughter. The hotel is very clean, good beds, efficient air conditioning, stuff members very kind. It would require some refurbishment but for the price we paid the ratio quality vs price it is very high. A lot of opportunity to taste good food around or dine in with a fixed menu at fixed price. Breakfast was superb!!! Home made cakes, very good cappuccino and espresso. If we will be around again, we know now where to stop. Thanks!! The hotel is not visible from the road and there is an old building when you turn to the Hotel direction/indication that may give a bad first impression, keep going the hotel is there around the corner. "

"This was a terrific option for Parma. Inexpensive, convenient to train, big and modern room, great staff, wonderful breakfast. I literally have no idea what others have complained about. We thought the area very safe and didn't get asked for money once, unlike in Bologna and Verona. An easy walk into town and right by the leaving point for food tours. Can't recommend it enough. "

"Property condition and room excellent. Feels new and fresh! Car a necessity. Service team mediocre, many not speaking English at all. Staff frequently indifferent and somewhat impolite to guests including me, by both US and European standards. Perhaps no such interaction training. (I stayed 5 nights.)"

"A wonderful little hotel between Parma and Reggio Emilia. A lot of character, very nice rooms, and wonderful staff. Morena, in particular, was very helpful answering all of our questions and being patient with my mediocre Italian. Will definitely stay at Hotel Tricolore again when in the area."
