"Beautiful old hotel done in classical Venetian style. Gorgeous location right on the canal and just across from S. Lucia train station making getting all over Italy convenient. An easy 20-30 minute walk got me pretty much anywhere on the island. Staff was great, and the morning breakfast was delicious. Already recommended to friends traveling here later this year."

"This is the perfect hotel for exploring Venice. Their shuttle provided round trip transportation to and from the airport, and the train station was located directly behind the hotel, making for an easy trip to the island. The hotel could use an update, but the convenience and service makeup for it. Everyone at the hotel was helpful giving recommendations, including the pizza takeout across the street that was a delicious & inexpensive dinner. We saw many people struggling with luggage on the island, and we repeatedly said thank goodness we didn’t stay there. We loved our stay & highly recommended this location."
