It was comfortable, with good storage space.
Please note that the room is very dark; there is a window, however there is a shutter from another window obscuring half of it, so there is little to no daylight.
The pillows weren’t great and could do with being replaced.

There isn’t a lift, and a big staircase, so be prepared if you have mobility issues.
The location is fantastic, literally 3 minutes walk from main attractions.

The room decor was upscale “period” with lovely gold accents and inlays. Yes, the junior suite was small as listed and didn’t bother us a bit. The rooftop bar-lounge is wonderful with a great view of St. Mark’s basilica steeple. Yet, the room was quiet. The staff were very friendly, helpful, and professional. To get there was a 10 minute ferry ride from the train station and then a 5 minute walk over the Rialto Bridge. We had a spacious room with comfortable bed, very modern and clean. We had a view of the Grand Canal, and found the room very quiet when the windows were closed. The breakfast was superb. We can't fault in, and would definitely recommend it to others."
