Imagine strolling along Torre San Giovanni Harbor for some great waterfront pics. It's located 0.6 mi (1 km) from central Torre San Giovanni. If you carry on walking you'll get to Torre San Giovanni Beach for some more water views.
When the beach is calling your name, you might want to head down to Torre Mozza Beach in the heart of Torre Mozza. Catch the sunset by the shore at Macolona beach and Paduli beach, located nearby.
You can browse the exhibits at Ugento Archaeological Museum, a museum with a story of its own, during your trip to Ugento. While you're in the area, stroll along the beaches.
"All was great checkin and service but our last day when returning from our outing our door was unlocked and we had left it locked....luckily nothing was missing in our room."
"This is a fantastic resort. The food is a very high quality. The staff are excellent, they are so helpful and friendly. The rooms are spacious and quiet. The grounds of the resort are really well maintained and beautiful. The beach is superb! Thoroughly recommended "
"Excellent property. Located 15 minutes away from Torre San Giovanni on foot. 10 minutes to the beach.
Our hosts Tommaso and Mariella were excellent - could not do enough for you"
"Great hotel, just in front of the sea, free onsite parking, rooms are nice, the hotel restaurant offers great food, everyone super friendly. Highly recommend."
"Local family host, very friendly and nice. The swimming pool is also very nice. I think the highlight is the friendliness of Daniela and Arianna.
Private parking was very easy.
Notes: No safe in the room. You need a car to move around, in particular at night! Short drive to beaches though, and we always found parking as early June so not too tourist-busy (can’t comment for say July/August). "
"Lovely hotel, beautiful grounds. Staff were lovely, friendly and helpful. Not many spoke English but we went very early/just out of season so fewer staff and less guests. We had fun using my little knowledge of Italian and google translate. Pool area was very nice but not very large or deep so nice to take a dip to cool off, not great for swimming. Not much shade. Private beach area nice but nothing open and not allowed in the sea as not in season (no life guard), although website said open in May the hotel staff said June. (A short walk away was a public beach. However, water was freezing so not something we were keen to do!) It was nice and quiet, but towards the end of the week they were doing maintenance getting ready for the season. Spa was lovely, extra money to use as we’d only booked B&B but again staff were lovely and the spa was very nice. We were treated to the private spa experience. The breakfast was plentiful and varied, a lot of pastries but not much fruit on offer. Eggs cooked to order and staff went out of their way to be accommodating. Our hotel room, situated a few steps from the garden, was modern and spacious, with a good sized bathroom with a large shower. Balcony with two chairs & small table and lovely sea view. Only downside was no tea/coffee making facilities or easy chairs in room. Would have been nice to have room for loungers on the balcony. There was a small fridge and a safe. I would stay here again but bring a travel kettle & travel iron. "
"An old masseria in quiet and relaxing countryside. However, the room condition was poor and had a strong mouldy smell. On the plus, the continental breakfast and pool were good."
"Property area was comfortable. Quite few amenities. Food was accurate, quality was ok. Did not like that on the rate was not enclosed the place on beach. That had to be settled as extra. And for an hotel on the sea this is quite odd. Missing baby-club and music. Only piano-bar music, the siger was very nice. But it could have been better if could offer different kind of entertinement. "
