"The decor of the hotel was beautiful and the rooms were very lovely, the dollhouse with the tea and coffee etc is so cute. The bed was comfortable and the staff were very nice and helpful. The hotel is in a wonderful location and very close to everything."

"We arrived late and stayed for one night after a wedding nearby. Was so glad for the spacious car park because I was absolutely shattered and it was so dark. We stayed in a twin room with double and single bed. The single wasn't quite as plush as the double and my daughter was so disappointed she wasn't allowed to sleep in the big bed! The single was a bit hard but not too bad. I was grateful for the extra pillow in the wardrobe as they were a bit flat for me. The shower head holder was loose so it had to be hand held. The bathroom was a bit weathered though clean. The toilet took an age to refill so when all of us needed the loo, it took ages to be able to flush. Room was clean and tidy and we appreciated the kettle and hot drinks though we didn't need them this time. There was a decent English breakfast selection, with cereals, hot drinks and fruit juices for breakfast. We arrived around 9am and had to wait for several things to be refilled. Coffee was good so that was appreciated. If I was to be picky I would've liked pastries or pancakes 😁 My daughter fell in love with the two beautiful dogs who live there and she didn't want to leave. There was a playground on site, which we sadly didn't have time to explore. Overall we had a really lovely albeit short stay and would definitely come back if we were ever in the area again."

"This property has a dry sauna and wet sauna as well as a bathing area. So after a long day sightseeing a visit here at the hotel is welcomed. The rooms are tastfully decorated with comfy beds and great amenities. Lovely place to stay "

"The hotel is perfectly located for both the Theatre Royal and Ustinov Theatre as you can walk to either in about thirty seconds! There are also numerous bars, coffee shops and restaurants in the immediate area. Despite being centrally located, I didn't hear any noise from outside at all. My room was quite compact but very comfortable, the shower was great as was the bed. All the staff were very friendly and helpful and I wouldn't hesitate to stay there again. The nearest car park is an eleven minute walk away, which of course the hotel can't do anything about. I would definitely recommend staying at this hotel."

"I would give every aspect of this delightful hotel a top rating, from the lovely staff to the quality of all facilities and the wonderful location. I spend a night here and used the spa, which is also excellent. The food in the restaurant was exquisite. If you have limited time and want a restful break, this is the place to come! "

"Lovely stay, greeted at reception with a great check in lots of information for us was offered by the very friendly reception staff. Room was accommodated in the modern block but not dissappointed as very light and roomy. Great coffee machine with fresh milk in the fridge along with water. Nice bathroom "

"The hotel staff was extremely hospitable. The breakfast that was bought with the room was simply fantastic (in most hotel it is an overprice affair; here it was excellent, varied and plentiful). The restaurant staff was also extremely helpful and equally hospitable. The rooms were interestingly decorated and comfortable but also different from the typical bland hotel rooms. The hotel offers many uniquely attractive features that we enjoyed it very much. Overall a great and fun experience. "

"Very nice welcome and very clean room and hotel. Very quiet, had a great night's sleep. Breakfast was very expensive but it was very good quality with probably local sausages (large) nice back bacon and all the trimmings. Other cooked options were available. Would stay there again and can recommend for sure."
