Owners were very helpful and the rooms pleasant. Parking is a little convoluted as you have to go to the house collect the parking voucher and return to the car and do the same on departure but the car park is only a few minutes walk away. "

"Hotel has so much potential. Lovely rooms & excellent food. Visit spoilt by social events catering for nearby chalets & mobile homes. So loud impossible to sleep & events going on till midnight or even later. Hotel doesn’t seem to have decided what sort of clientele to cater for but trying to please guests & chalet/mobile home just doesn’t work."

"The cottage was in a perfect location for us. The town centre of Ruthin is within walking distance and there are many interesting destinations a short drive away.
The cottage was clean and all the essentials were provided. The bedding and towels were of good quality and the bed was very comfortable. There is secure off-road parking and the garden is fenced around. There is a tall step between the back door and the gravelled garden, but Ruthin is hilly so this should not be a surprise! "

It's a quiet place, relaxing but there are plenty of local pubs, cafes, the castle which is free entrance and free parking. Me and my girlfriend had a Really relaxing time.

"Staff were amazing. Not a large selection of food on the menu, however the food available was cooked amazingly. Kids pack on checking in was a very nice supprise, with a kids wrist band for a free snack daily. Definitely will be coming back to stay again. "
"Lovely hotel in a great location. Staff really helpful and friendly. Breakfast was good and our room was excellent. Bar/restaurant area was really nice and the lady serving at the bar was really lovely. We will definitely stay again. Ate at the restaurant called Amni across the road and it was excellent. Loads of choice of lovely restaurants nearby and main shopping area just round the corner made it a brilliant location."
