"First room we were given had broken sink waste, when used, water poured all over the floor, reception told us to put the bin underneath (we thought he was joking and would send someone to repair it seeing as we were not offered an alternative room), after 2nd trip to reception we had to ask for a different room which we were given. The breakfast wasn't great, bread, croissants etc were not fresh - dry and hard but better than nothing. "

"This is a perfectly fine hotel. Nothing spectacular and certainly not luxurious. But for the price there was no complaint. Rooms are small and a bit dated - but very clean. Lobby staff was very friendly and helpful. Hotel is a quick walk to the cathedral and the centre ville. "

"When we arrived we were disappointed as we were told the pool was not open as it was seasonal , yet the next morning as we were leaving there were people swimming in it!
The grounds were unkempt and the grass around the pool looked like it had not been cut for over a month … a far stretch from the “ sell” of an immaculate property on Expedias website .
We had a room over looking the pool and after retiring to bed were woken up at 23.00 hrs by someone washing up below us and crashing plates and...

"If six stars were available , I would happily give that rating! This lovely mansion has been transformed into an elegant hotel. Our room was spacious and comfortable, with great amenities. Breakfast is great and served either outdoors on the patio or in the lovely dining room. There is a cocky grey parrot who appears in the morning, however he would not deign to talk with me.
The best thing about the hotel is their manager and staff. Courteous, friendly and enthusiastic about making sure the hotel service is extra special!
