"This is a lovely little family run hotel in the high Black Forest. The owners were very accommodating, even offering to cook for us on the first night despite it being the one night a week when the restaurant is closed. The hotel owners only took over in December 2024 and are working hard to improve an already lovely place. The breakfast spread was lovely, lots of fresh and delicious food. In the evening the menu is lots of traditional mountain food, again all delicious. The hotel is a ski hotel in the winter, but in the summer when we went it is a great place for family walks up the high peaks of the Black Forest including Seebuck, Feldburg and Herzogenhorn. It is also just a short drive down the hill to Titisee if you want to enjoy the pleasures of the lake or the enormous indoor waterpark. Overall it is a great spot for a few days of mountain peace and beauty. Eating breakfast whilst looking out across the cows on the hill outside eating theirs is a great way to start the day."

"We rented the apartment at the top of the building and it was simply amazing. The elevator goes directly to the apartment on the 5th floor where there are no other rooms or apartments. The space is large and everything is very well equipped. Very good stay. The only problem is that it is 30 minutes from the lake so you need a car but we had a car. I also wish the parking was free. Otherwise, the hotel is perfect."

"Great stay but way too complicated for check in and getting a Konos card (we never got one). The breakfast door was locked and folks were trying to figure out how to get in, and only entered when someone left. Rooms are great for families. "

"Superb place to stay, a really spacious and clean suite on the top floor. Bar/restuarant served superb food and a great breakfast. Nice quiet area and easy walk into the centre of Loffingen. Parking spaces are not abundant but there is plenty of parking in town a short walk away so no real issue. Would definitely stay here again."

"We checked in at the bar after reception closed, they were friendly and helpful. I really enjoyed the space, it has been renovated with care. We had the farm room and I really enjoyed the aesthetic. The beds were freshly made, I did notice it was a bit dusty here and there but it was definitely clean. The weather was too hot to enjoy the spa facilities on the top floor, the relaxation room by itself was like a sauna, I can imagine it being lovely in the winter. The restaurant food was good, and we appreciated the guest cards and used them for a day trip to Titisee. Excellent location and base for visiting the local areas. It was very quiet at night and we slept well as they had provided two fans in our room, but the rooms stayed fairly cool anyway as the walls are thick stone. "

"I would definitely stay here again. The views are amazing, the property is quiet, the pool and sauna were great. For a family of four, we had the Deluxe Apartment and it was plenty of space. The rooms were large, the bathtubs overlooking the woods were amazing. There are a couple restaurants not too far away, but we ended up going to the grocery store and cooking at home because we wanted to spend most of our time in the room. "

"Hotel was in a great location right in the heart of downtown. There was a parking garage and grocery store right next door, and there were countless bars, cafes, and bakeries within walking distance! Perfect for a few nights in Tuttlingen. "

I booked a double bed as i like having extra space, strange thing was that I was only provided a single duvet and a single pillow which were both sitting in the middle of the bed. Apart from this i had an enjoyable 1 night stay."
