"The hotel was a lovely place overall with spacious and clean rooms. The Aircon was not working very well which made the room rather hot all night and therefore, a little uncomfortable. The breakfast was good. Hotel was around a 25 minute walk from the central area but it was a lovely walk along the river around the back of the hotel. "

"This is a beautiful hotel right in the heart of the lovely city of Trier. The room was immaculate, spacious and comfortable. The staff were very helpful, and I even received a complimentary bottle of sparkling wine simply because it was my birthday, during my stay. I have stayed in few finer hotels."

"While the hotel is a bit of a hike from the train station, it is worth it.
The room was very nice and spacious. The bed was very comfortable. Breakfast room has a view of the river - perfect for a relaxing start to the day. Coffee was great.
I would definitely stay here again. "

"Great place, easy parking, just outside of town but very walkable. Slightly confusing layout but once you managed to get to your room it was great. Would recommend "

You can learn about the history of Trier with a trip to Cathedral of St Peter and Church of Our Lady. Amble around the area's waterfront or experience its museums.
Trier is applauded for its cultural attractions such as Karl Marx House and Trier Theatre. This historical city has something for everyone including sights like Trier Christmas Market and Hauptmarkt.
Interesting old buildings including the Porta Nigra of course. Plenty of restaurants to choose from, even on Sunday and Monday evenings.

Good
Nice city with many ancient roman buildings to see, good restaurant. Very beautiful wander ways in the surrounding forests or along the Mosel river. Great location as a base for day trips to Luxembourg, Mosel wineries, and Volcanic Eifel.

Trier is a beautiful clean city with lots of Roman ruins to explore. The shopping area is pleasant as is the area around the cathedral. We would visit again.

Go see the sights and take in the history. We come to this city every year. A great place to be.
"Location was right across the street from sights, dining and shopping. View of gate from room was incredible! AC wasn't great, but the room has a huge window that you can open and a cool breeze blows in easily. They also provide a nice fan that keeps the room comfortable. "

"The hotel was wonderful. It was very comfortable and in a quiet location. The check in was contact-less, which was a bit confusing for me, but worked out well. Parking was a bit difficult as there are limited spaces in front of the hotel. There is additional parking down by the river but we did not realize this when first getting there. Once we figured it out it was not an issue. There is a kitchen available but no breakfast on site. You just have to bring your own food and cook for yourself. We walked to the bakery a few houses down and found wonderful breads and other things we needed. The only change I would recommend to their current operation is to add a breakfast option. There is enough seating for guests to enjoy a breakfast. Sadly the kitchen and dining area always seemed empty while we were there. Not many restaurant options nearby. But we enjoyed our stay there. "
"A beautiful peaceful countryside stay by the forest, I would love to go again but sadly the receptionist lady's behaviour was strange the way she looked at us, like we're not welcomed I love travelling and I visited over twenty countries but never happened this before. I'm not complaining but this is unusual specially on four star hotels."
"The staff was very welcoming and accommodating, the room was clean and taken care of, but the property requires more/better renovation. The overall experience was good, would come back."
"Great value for money. Of course the bathroom is small and the room is basic.
Staff were friendly, quick check in and check out!
A/C not great but did cool rhe room eventually! "
"Restaurant was closed and staff was not very helpful with other restaurant recommendations. Room was old and not comfortable, but expected for price. "
"I stayed at the hotel for the Luxembourg Remich 70.3 Ironman race. First of all, I spent a relaxed and comfortable two days both at the hotel and at my room. Parking was available with a fee. The staff prepared me a snack box for breakfast upon my request which already made my race morning. They were friendly and showed great hospitality from check-in to check-out. The breakfast itself was also great. I definitely recommend this value of the price hotel."
"We had a nice experience staying at this hotel. Our hotel room was huge - we were at the Gallery suites. Breakfast was good as well with wide variety of choices.Front desk were also helpful and respectful. I like the location of the hotel because it’s quiet and far from the busy city. Even though it’s not within the city of Luxembourg we preferred that. There is a close by grocery store in that hotel. And what I like the most, public transportation is free for everyone ( for residents and tourists a like ). "
"I was rather surprised at how great this hotel is. It was in an unsuspecting area that was very close to the main plaza in Trier. The best part was the comfortable rooms equipped with air conditioning. I had the best night's rest in a long time. "

"We loved the pool area, but were disappointed not all the saunas and steam areas seemed to be working. The wellness area had outdated workout equipment but we loved the options for racquetball and ping pong. Getting here is a hassle if you don’t have a car. There is a grocery store and little toy shop very close to the hotel (but you’ll have to walk your groceries up hill to get back to the hotel without a car - Just a warning since we saw some unhappy faces as we drove past them). We loved the pool table downstairs in the bar and our balcony was spacious with great views. It seemed by the overall look of the hotel that it was luxurious back in its day of maybe the 80s or 90s. I didn’t mind it at all and would stay here again! "
"Fabulous from start to finish! Welcome drink on arrival, early access to our room which was in the cottage, we ate in the restaurant, the food was very good, staff very attentive and lovely wines. Swimming pool was great and the sauna. Great location and will definitely stay again."
"Within in sight of amazing Porta Nigra, just wow! Incredible apartments. Super clean and beautifully decorated! We had two apartments. One had a full kitchen which had the necessary kitchen equipment for the 7 of us to eat breakfast and lunch. There is grocery story next door. Perfect location for restaurants, train station and Porta Nigra. Would love to go back, we had too short of a time there."
"Literally steps from the airport, which is amazing after a late flight. Front desk was friendly and fast. Room was clean, comfortable and very quiet considering it’s right next to the runway (bless those soundproof windows and blackout curtains). Only downside is that the food options were meh."
