"Hotel staff were friendly and helpful. Roads nearby were very usable even though it was the wet season. There is a very nice black sand beach a short walk from the hotel (though the stairs a bit treacherous). "

"The hospitality was outstanding. The bar and restaurant staff were so nice and kind; and got to know us on a first name basis. The room was beautiful. The shower was next level. The double shower heads and the outside view had me taking multiple showers a day. Additionally the view from our partial ocean view room was beautiful. I would definitely return to this property."

"Access to the hotel is down a dirt road and through a gate. The area felt very safe and quite with not much traffic. This hotel is part of a sister hotel of maybe 5 rooms that is a short walk away to get to the main office. Staff was very responsive and helpful through WhatsApp. The room was comfortable and what I would expect staying in at a nature preserve. Not luxurious if you are used to staying at a big name hotel. Access to the beach is a short walk across from the office. There is a restaurant and coffee shop at the hotel as well as other restaurants and a small market in the surrounding area that is walkable. There is also a small pool on the property. Expect to get woken up by birds or Howler monkeys in the morning. Various animals can be seen walking around the community such as Spider monkeys, coatis, or crabs. It was raining most afternoons while we were there but we did get the pleasure of a seeing the beautiful sunset at least once during our stay. I also got to see fireflies for my first time and it was amazing. This was a great place to stay if you are looking for a quite area without the hoards of people and shops like in Tamarindo. But if you want to visit Tamarindo you can walk down the beach and take an inexpensive short boat ride to Tamarindo which was much more convenient than trying to drive there. "

"I stayed at Conchal on my first & last day in Costa Rica. The staff at Conchal are exceptional! They go above & beyond to ensure you're comfortable & well taken care of. They were also very flexible with check in times. The shuttle service to and from the airport was seamless & communication from the hotel was great. The Costa Rican breakfast included was so delicious & the drinks made by the fabulous bartender Mr. X were amazing! Jennifer at Reception is phenomenal. She arranged a catamaran & snorkel tour for me with lunch and transportation to & from the hotel included. The rooms are cozy, A/C was perfect & pool is nice. The greetings from the moneys & Iguanas around the property were unforgettable. 100% would stay here again. "

"It is only a block away from the beach , some local options for food in walking distance, the pool is open 24/7 unless they are cleaning it. Board games on site, beds comfy and clean, all amenities you need. parking in front. Not a lot to do in Brasilito but great location to get to everything. The owners of the condo are really great to deal with and remember to take a photo of the emergency numbers on the kitchen counter just in case. "

"We are so glad to have stayed at this wonderful property. You are well looked after with amenities such as laundry (and detergent), separate bedrooms and living areas, a kitchen with all appliances - even a dishwasher. There is a wonderful concierge who provided a wealth of information and tour upon arrival. We did not have a formal check in process which made this feel like we were coming home rather than to a "hotel". The view of the marina is beautiful and rooms/balcony were private and quiet. The beds were so comfortable and house keeping was top notch, even doing our dishes and mopping (did not expect this!). Parking was easy and secure in an on site lot and there is no charge for those staying here. The infinity pool on the third floor was amazing, fairly warm and staff worked hard to clean and keep towels restocked. It is also a quiet place, we hardly saw even 5 people during mid-April. There are restaurants along the marina, shops, and more restaurants, a market and beautiful flamingo beach just a 5 minute walk down the road. I would definitely stay here again, my 8 year old son, my husband and I were happy and relaxed! "

"This was a lovely stay in a unique property, with a main floor and a loft. Parking was convenient and the kitchen included all we needed. A car was necessary, was there are not a lot of dining/shopping options within walking distance. "
