I have been coming to Mt Pleasant for over 40 years. I find the area lacks entertainment. There is no place to go and dance on a Friday nite. The only live music there was was at the Cabin in Mt Pleasant. The casino should have live music.

It happened to be under construction down by Meijer on Pickard but the setup was so smooth so didn't cause any issues even with not being familiar to the area so that was a huge bonus. Love that everythin is within a few miles of the hotel and Casino

"It was fine for the 2 nights we stayed. I was a little taken aback by the carpet. I walked around barefoot, until the bottoms were blackened. Just a suggestion, that perhaps carpet cleaning might be something to consider."
"Love this location! We stay here when we go to concerts at Soaring Eagle Casino. The location is perfect! Easy to get to, located near lots of restaurants and shopping, and you can travel the backroads to the casino. Always clean and nice employees. Our room was really nice and seemed to be recently renovated. Price is great - will continue to stay here anytime we’re in Mt Pleasant!"
"This place was awesome! The only thing i didn't expect was not being able to watch anything on tv and we didnt have a fridge or microwave.That was the only bummer. Other than that it was nice! "
"Great location not far from highway and plenty to do in the immediate area. Shopping, restaurants within walking distance. Room was clean and quiet except for a rowdy crowd in the parking lot celebrating a baseball win but that wasn't too late or obnoxious. Pool was enjoyed although lack of hot tub was a bummer. "
"Plans were a concert at Soaring Eagle, Everything was either booked or unaffordable in Mount Pleasant. Edmore Inn came up on search 18 miles away. (35 minutes). Family room that sleeps 6 was available at a reasonable price. 5 adults slept comfortably. Room was clean, beds were comfortable. Pump hand soap, body wash and shampoo in bathroom. Microwave and fridge in room. The furniture is very nice, lodge feel. Was very quiet. Continental breakfast was limited but was given a $5 off coupon per person for hot breakfast next door at the Depot. We didn't have time to swim but pool area looked nice."
"The hotel was very clean & new. Front desk clerks were very helpful & courteous. The pool water was a little too cold, but wasn't bad or a problem. The handle on the bathroom in a handicap room needed a minor repair, but again, wasn't bad. In all, it was a great stay for me, my sister, & our two dogs (the hotel is definitely pet-friendly), But the star of the show was the guy taking care of the breakfast area. He easily & proudly kept the food hot & fresh & filled. He helped my sister, who has mobility issues, get some food. And answered any questions politely & completely. He deserves the most praise, but the whole hotel staff deserves plenty of praise also. Great work!"

"We were traveling from Texas to Saginaw. We were exhausted. The facility was not the best on the outside, but the inside was clean, cozy, and very comfortable. The breakfast was also edible. I believe it’s safe to say that our overall experience was excellent. Thank you!!"

We had two rooms and they both were nice! One bathroom was across the hall from the room but that did not hinder our stay at all. We felt like we were in a very private home.
We will definitely stay there again if we are ever in the Alma area.
