"We loved our stay here. The cabin is so cute and clean. The animals are fun to see. It's just a very short walk down to the riverwalk which is great! The only negative I have is there wasn't much light in the bathroom. Hard to see anything in the mirror but there is a vanity in the bedroom with a light. Breakfast in the barn was so cool!! We would stay again. "

"We had a quick overnight stay. Checked in late, but was greeted by very friendly staff. Our room was extremely clean and spacious. The hotel was close to all the restaurants and Tarleton State University. Definitely would stay here again; great hotel for the price!"

"The location is excellent, right on the Square. If you like old and rickety, this is your place. In the room there were a number of stairs that had to be navigated so it might be tough for seniors. Plus, there were no grab bars in the shower/tub combo, and the tub bottom was slippery. There's no maid service so if you need something, you have to go down to the restaurant and get someone to help. Our main complaint has to do with the TV. It is set up so all you get is ROKU. You can't get...

"Staff was friendly. Building is very run down and in need of a major renovation. Security locks on the inside of the doors are needed. Inconvenient there’s no access from the outside doors to the room, despite the door and padlock. Feels very dark, gloomy, and unclean due to the lack of renovations."
