I actually reside here in Reading. I stayed at the Kings Inn because there was work being done at my nearby home that required me to leave. Reading is a city with great history. Trying to climb back from economic setbacks, and doing a great job of it

Reading is our hometown and that's where our family is . Lots of cool things to do !
"I like the fact when you go outside you don’t have to take an elevator to go out so if you’re a smoker it’s convenient. Just walk out your room. Breakfast, there was milk, cereal, toast, muffins, coffee (24/7), orange juice and apple juice. Toaster and microwave is accessible 24/7. Everything else is 6am to 10 am then is shut off. Entrance is a Little hard to find at first but nothing hard to figure out. Come with your own cleaning products for the tub and sink and fridge. Because you will want to clean it before using. Catch the maids around 10 am for clean sheets and toilet paper and garbage bags. Overall the stay was okay. Just don’t expect it to be hotel fancy, it’s an inn after all. "

"Room was very clean. I appreciated the assigned parking. The 2 hour complimentary van tour of the area was great! The hot tub was very relaxing. Price was reasonable. It was conveniently located for us. Front desk staff was very friendly, but not pool area staff.
Both indoor pools were colder than desired. Pathway lights along sidewalk between front building and pool would be helpful. We stayed in older front building and water temperature for shower fluctuated from very hot to cold making showering unpleasant. No breakfast. No usb equipped receptacles. "

"Check-in was smooth, and the gentlemen was kind! No problem securing a Luggage cart. Breakfast was simple, rooms were nice. Good amount of storage
Only nitpick would be attention to detail when cleaning. The showerhead had a lot of soupscum, and there was crushed candies in the carpet.
There are signs indicating a $300 charge if smoking of any kind is done in the rooms which I greatly appreciate. That being said, theres always people that don't care. First night there from midnight-3am there was a slight smell of weed. Likely from the room above.
Overall, we would stay again and would recommend!

"We made our reservation while on the road so it was nice that we had this in place and knew where to drive to. The front desk staff was very nice and helpful. The room with 2 queens was very large. Free parking was nice too. Breakfast would have been an add on item so we skipped that. "

She checked on us at the pool, and afterwards set up hot choclate (girls were cold after being wet in ac) and turned on the outdoor fire pit for them. She brought out board games too!
