Legian has continued to improve over time. We loved the walk track near the beach and the friendly people operating their businesses there. The only improvement I would like to see is access for people in wheelchairs. It is still difficult.

Unfortunately the beach was disappointing with a lot of rubbish floating in each day. Some floating in and some just discarded by locals and tourists- especially plastic products and containers.

"Beautiful place for a basic short stay. Location is perfect. Surfer theme is really fun. Cafe/restaurant is very convenient. Staff are so lovely. Only issue we had, it seems like potentially another guest was smoking near the air conditioning vent because we continued to smell cigarette smoke coming through to our room. The staff offered to have an engineer clean the vents but we suspected this wasn’t the issue; it was a guest choosing to smoke in a certain spot "

"The Melasti Beach Resort & Spa is a great hotel to stay at considering the price per night. Inside the room 110 is quite large and spacious. Living room with separate bedroom and bathroom with 1 shower and 1 bathtub/shower. The property grounds are immaculate and clean. The only negative thing I can say is about the bathroom. The water does not drain well in the sink or either of the shower areas. The water pressure is about as good as you can expect being in Bali but it did work well the entire visit. The water from the showers will get all over the floor each time you take a shower so an extra towel or 2 can do the job. The room was cleaned at excatly the same time each day around 11am. The property and the staff are all great and make your stay very easy going. Very easy check in and check out. The hotel goes all the way back to legian beach and has every you can imagine at the front of the property off Jl padma utara so you really can walk anywhere you want to. Very accessible location and Im sure i will always go back to this Hotel in the future."
