Yes it’s run down and the whole place could do with a refurb BUT the room and beds were clean and reasonably comfortable and we all slept ok. "Family room was super spacious with a large loft for the kids and a separate doored room for the parents. Modern rain head shower, and the triple pain windows help make it extra quiet. Location is super for easy walking in old town. Although the hotel has no parking itself, a parking garage across the street is easy to access and low cost."
