"The hotel is in a convenient location, close to Yeongildae Beach and Yeongildae Pavilion. There are plenty of restaurants and cafes along Haean-ro, making it easy to explore the area. The room was clean and decent overall, and the hotel offers underground parking, which is a nice bonus. One highlight is that the Do Not Disturb café is located right at ground level. However, we didn’t find out about the discount for hotel guests until the last day, as the notice was written only in Korean. The café staff mentioned it when we were checking out, which was a bit disappointing—we would have appreciated knowing earlier. The only downsides were that the lighting in the room was quite dim, and the air conditioning vent blows directly onto the beds, making it uncomfortably cold at night. It would be much better if both the lighting and airflow could be adjusted."

"An excellent location near many attractions near by. So many choices of food and cafés, all excellent! Because the hotel is located ny the street, it may be noisy at times but once you fall asleep, i slept through. Very easily accessable to public transportation. I would strongly recommend this hotel. "경주 이재호텔 숙박 후기 (2박 3일) 2025년 5월 29일부터 2박 3일간 경주 이재호텔에 머물렀습니다. 모던한 감성과 일본 료칸 스타일이 조화를 이루는 고급스럽고 정갈한 분위기의 호텔이었고, 첫인상부터 매우 만족스러웠습니다. 체크인도 간편했고 직원분들이 정말 친절했는데, 그중 권현우 직원님의 세심하고 따뜻한 응대가 특히 인상 깊었습니다. 객실은 넓고 청결했으며, 나무 욕조가 있는 욕실과 아로마 오일 선택 서비스, 허브 티 제공 등 작은 디테일들이 숙박의 만족도를 크게 높여주었습니다. 식사는 석식과 조식 모두 정성스럽고 훌륭했습니다. 석식은 사시미, 도미 조림, 테이블에서 구워먹는 고기와 야채, 밥과 국까지 제대로 된 구성으로 나왔고, 조식은 깔끔한 전복죽과 물김치로 부담 없이 즐길 수 있었습니다. 프라이빗 독채탕도 매일 90분간 이용할 수 있어 힐링하기에 정말 좋은 경험이었습니다. 다만 아쉬웠던 점은 두 가지입니다. 하나는 위치로, 불국사와는 가깝지만 첨성대, 동궁과 월지, 천마총 등 주요 관광지에서는 멀어 택시 이동이 필요했습니다. 특히 밤에는 주변 상권이 매우 한산해 고스트타운처럼 적막한 분위기였습니다. 또 다른 아쉬움은 호텔 전체 공간에서 재생되는 음악이 반복적이고 불편한 수준이었다는 점입니다. 식사 중 45분 내내 반복되는 크리스마스 음악은 분위기와 맞지 않았고, 예민한 분들에게는 상당한 스트레스로 다가올 수 있습니다. 그럼에도 불구하고 객실, 서비스, 식사, 스파 모두 훌륭했고, 특히 직원들의 친절함이 숙박을 더욱 따뜻하게 만들어 주었습니다. 다음 경주 여행에서도 다시 고려하고 싶은 호텔입니다."

"Very comfortable , clean hotel in a very convenient location. Comfortable beds, large bathroom with shower and large tub. Good breakfast and very attentive staff. Secure lockers to leave luggage if not leaving the area at check-out time. Free bottles of cold water for the room and to take out during the day. Would definitely stay again."

"Staff was friendly during arrival and checkout. The room was spacious and extremely clean. Within walking distance to main shopping street in Gyeongju and historical sites (such as Cheomseongdae Observatory). We enjoyed our stay here. "

"Kolon Hotel was remodeled in 2023, so the beds and facilities (air conditioning, bathroom, amenities, etc.) were excellent. However, perhaps because it was only a renovation, the window frames are still a bit outdated. There weren’t any major downsides, but it wasn’t perfect either. It offers great value for money, and the breakfast in particular was outstanding and delicious. What I liked the most was the Time After Time exhibition. If you’re Korean, I highly recommend getting tickets. The program was great, the facilities were well maintained, and there was a lot to see. Both the kids and the whole family were very satisfied."

"Clean on a quiet street. Thought it was weird that there are dozens of hotels and motels nearby but the streets are pretty empty. But it is a very nice stay.. nice hotel and clean."

"I had a suite for a day. Rooms were clean, and the view was excellent. However, I cannot recommend this place to non-Koreans as there are very limited choices for activities and restaurants. All the restaurants are seafood places. Mostly sushi places, if you enjoy sushi, this place would be a great choice. We had live fish sushi for about 40,000 won per person, and it was excellent."

"The hotel has everything you would want and need… a bit dated with the bathroom being a wet room but has a bidet which is nice. Nice ocean view and roomy. The massage chair in the room is a bonus!"

"We were there off season but had a lovely stay. The staff was helpful and friendly. The only thing to note was we couldn't control the temperature in our room. The thermostat is set for you and you are not able to cool or heat individual rooms. For the most part it was a comfortable temperature but we wish we could choose the temperature ourselves."

"Great staff, great food. My bathroom smelled mildewy and the shower drain kept flooding the bathroom. Also in winter there is central heating and all our rooms were very hot, like 80F."
