"Clean/quiet rooms, a spacious bathroom, quick check in, and easy netflix access were the highlights for my family. A few other nice additions were complimentary water and basic toiletries. The hotel is in a really active neighborhood, within walking distance to many restaurants, karaoke rooms, bars, arcades, and more."

"The check in was quick, and the receptionist was friendly a very helpful. The parking on the property was convenient. The location of the hotel is central to shopping and food. The room was comfortable and 75” tv was a bit overwhelming. The windows were triple paned so you couldn’t hear street noise. The breakfast was delicious. "

"Clean and tidy place, I had a private room so I didn’t have to worry about noisy people. This can happen anywhere and it’s not the owners fault. The kitchen is nice and fully equipped, nice common area and very nice owner. I would recommend to stay there."

"The rooms were spacious and very clean, with a separate toilet room and shower. The neighborhood itself was limited and less clean than other places I’ve visited in Korea. However, the subway is about a 10 minute walk and one train to downtown. There were also other neighborhoods nearby that were walkable with more food options. The room came with a buffet breakfast that was more than adequate. The biggest issue for us was the foyer and the hallways had a very strong smelling air freshener that did not smell nice and triggered our sensitivities to perfume and other strong scents."

"Every aspect of this stay was amazing! Coming from the states, we couldn't download the Korean APPs and the host reached out via whatsapp after the first communication on hotels.com. All instructions on how to get into the building and where to store bags were provided prior to arriving. We arrived a bit early but the room was ready so he allowed us to go straight in - once we arrived, he came in and showed us how everything works (HVAC, TV, etc.) So grateful for this interaction. Location: the bandolwang station is right outside & there is a 7/11 attached to the building. The shopping area, food, bars start a block over. Space: Quiet, clean and located on the top floor of the building, great view. 1000% would stay here again! Definitely recommend. We are a couple in our early 30's. Thank you! "

"Hotel Laonzena was an average hotel and I would give it 3 stars. Our check-in process wasn't very welcoming - we arrived at 1.45pm, just an hour before the official check-in time of 3pm. We asked if we could check in early but the front desk lady immediately dismissed our request and told us to come back at 3pm. She didn't even take the initiative to check her computer to see if a room was available. That left us with quite the unwelcoming experience. The room was a bit dated and tired looking, and small. The double bed also wasn't that comfortable. The bathroom was good though. The swimming pool was closed throughout our stay. They gave us a single coupon for breakfast which was very strange given there were two of us. The breakfast layout was very strange - there were about 7-8 round tables with 6 chairs each. Food was mainly Korean cuisine but the coffee was good. Unlike the check-in experience, the front desk staff during our check-out were very friendly and polite. They even stored our luggage for us in a secure location after we checked out, and even called us a taxi to the train station. They told us the ride was about 7 minutes and would cost around 7,000 Won, and it was very accurate. "

"We stayed there for one night, getting to the property was so easy. The one lady at the reception was friendly, no paperwork, she gave us the keys and we went to our room. The property is close to Daegu station, you can hear the sound of trains passing by. I highly recommend this property. "

"This hotel has, without a doubt, the best service I experienced during a three week trip in Korea, sometimes staying at four and five star hotels. The accommodations were fantastic, the breakfast was good, the dining options were really good, the chef is excellent. But the main thing is the service. This staff is fantastic. They even showed me how to use the washing machine that was all Korean language. They went out of their way. I only wish that this were on my regular route of travel so that I could stay there again and again and again."

"literally it shouldn’t names as hotel!!!! It was cheap motel and price was so unreasonable!!! Please leave honest reviews!! Staff never there and always watching over CCTV! Never heard of such service!!! Parking lot was maze very difficult to find! Would never stay if someone left honest review "
