"Our experience there was awesome. It was nice and quiet. Close by to food, gas, and groceries. The drive to Cooperstown is scenic and not to far. Clean and friendly service. The water is hot and stays hot, so very relaxing after a day at the ballfield. "

"We were very, very happy with our stay at The Lake House. When we got there, Sabine was holding the door open and asking if we needed help with our luggage. The room was spotless as was the rest of The Lake House. Friendly staff, beautiful views of the lake. They were very accomodating of our dog who had a great time as well! A very enjoyable experience."

"it was an old hotel and the likes we have never stayed in because of its age. But it had a unique charm to it, The room was fine and the beds comfortable. The hotels in the Cooperstown area are priced very high this time of year and staying here saved us money and gave us what we needed, It was also nearby for any places we wanted to go to, We would stay here again."

"Cool place. The pics made it look like we had the upstairs and downstairs to ourselves but there were at least 5 units in the space that shared the downstairs kitchenette area. Also, you had to notify them 24 hrs in advance of your arrival (which we did not do) and spent 25 minutes trying to contact someone.
Beds were clean and comfy. Shower is awesome. The bathroom trash hadn’t been dumped so it was a little offsetting to see someone else’s dental floss and spit cups, but it was probably just...

"Super cute and peaceful location! I have never stayed in a motor Lodge before, and the convenience of having your car directly outside the room is insanely nice. I can see why it was such a popular design. The room was a bit dated, but very well kept, and the mattress older but not uncomfortable. The lodge has a small private beach a short walk down the hill, and you can borrow their kayaks for free! "

"We only stayed overnight and departed before the chickens arose the next day, but the property was clean and pleasant. The lakeside view was beautiful. "

"Checkin was pleasant and room was on 1st floor right next to parking, so easy unload and load. There is a family feel to the inner courtyard/parking, as some residents make use of their porch while children pet visiting dogs. This hotel was our choice rather than paying a fortune to stay in Cooperstown. A nearby Walmart and eateries were a plus in this small community. Beds were very comfortable, water pressure great. Lots of table top options in the room were a huge bonus. Makeup area was a...

"This was a replacement night for a hotel I had booked 8 months ago. When we arrived there, it was boarded up and out of business since April(3 months ago). Took an hour for Hotels.com to find a room. Hotel was pretty dated and rundown. Room was ok."

"The view from the motel is beautiful! We wish we could have stayed there longer. It is very family friendly and we love entering from the outside and not through a hall. "
"This little place is nestled right next to the highway, but the room is well insulated against noise. It is noisy by the pool, but it is a lovely, good sized hotel pool which we all enjoyed. We brought blow ups for it. The owners definitely take pride in how they run the Hotel. Right next door is the Erie Canal Cruise place (loved that) and it's close to Cooperstown and Howe Caverns and other regional sites. Picnic tables, Continental breakfast, vending machines. Its a great value."
"My family and I stayed here for a night during HOF weekend and thought it was great. The location was perfect, check-in went very smoothly and the front desk worker offered valuable advice.
We were also able to access the Lakehouse area, which was beautiful. My son and I played catch next to the lake in a spacious grassy area and the atmosphere added to the experience.
As for the room, it was cozy, but clean and all three beds had firm mattresses, and we were pleasantly surprised to find they had a television for my son when we made it back with all of the subscription channels available if you were a member of them.
All in all, this place deserves better reviews than the ones I read prior to coming here and I hope this review helps future guests choose this as the place for them to stay."
"I was in the area for my daughter's wedding. I stayed one night and it was a good experience. I decided not to go home the next night, and stayed in town. I went back to this facility because it was a very pleasant stay."
