"Very, very nice stay. Some of the amenities are a little dated, like the rough pool & jacuzzi, but really appreciated their availability. The setting is incredible. Staff is fantastic. Food & drinks very pricey. Breakfast buffet is overpriced for the choices available. Found ourselves driving into town for incredible meals for half the price. "

"We got a room very last minute and I was sure it wouldn’t be a great one but I was pleasantly surprised. We were tucked in a basement corner but the room had two kings and was actually very quiet.

"A beautiful out of the way location. Great skyline/mountain views. Dennis was an exquisite host and chef as we chose to have one of his fabulous 4 course dinners. Morning breakfast was great as well. The only down side was we were on a motorcycle and the area had received a fair amount of rain the day before we arrived that made the drive up the mountain driveway a bit challenging. We made it safely up and the next morning back down with only a small pucker factor!"

After a long 12-hour drive, we needed a place that was simple, affordable, and — most importantly — clean. This spot was exactly that. The room was modest, nothing fancy, but it was spotless and the bed was very comfortable, which made for a restful night. The small AC unit kept the room perfectly cool, and there was basic cable TV for some downtime. While the door has a standard lock, I would suggest adding a chain lock for a bit of extra peace of mind. Overall, a clean and comfortable stay that was just what we needed for a quick stopover."
