"I guess you get what you pay for, staff was very nice and helpful when I needed help with TV, checking in and out.
The place smelled horribly of weed, despite numerous postings of penalties for smoking around the premises
There was no elevator and we were given a 3 rd floor room
Carpets were old and dirty
I can’t say enough good things about the staff, the place needs a renovation
But for the price at was ok and we slept well "

"It’s hard to find a good hotel in a smaller town sometimes but Fred’s inn was great. Clean, easy check in, and they serve food till 9pm if you need it. The stay was perfect and the price reasonable. If I had to go back to that town I would stay there again"

"This was a great place for the 1 night we needed. Very clean and the service from Matt & his family was outstanding. Very neat, old home that looks like it’s having some updates. Breakfast was wonderful and homemade by Matt himself. Lovely stay!"

" The location was a good location for us to spend the night in the Cooperstown area. The outside of the property is not exactly as pictured right now. I hope it is a work in progress. The inside was fine. The room was good and we had a private bathroom. The owner, Matt, is very nice and he made a wonderful breakfast! We enjoyed our short stay."

"Simple but clean room. Refrigerator was a nice plus. Good location if you are going to Cooperstown All Star Village. Good for one quick night on your way to your next location. "

" I highly recommend staying here! Emily made our trip to Cooperstown so much better! She went above and beyond to make sure our trip was memorable! By far the best hotel I have ever stayed at. I travel a lot so I see a lot of them. What separates this hotel from all the others? Emily. Thank you Emily for help making our trip to Cooperstown memorable. We won't forget you and the amazing hospitality you showed to me and my kids. If you need a place to stay, this is the best. Their customer service is second to none!!!"
"For the amenities, room options, and location, Fred's Inn is one of the best gems that I have been to in years. Thanks to all staff who made the staff and travel partner's experience a wonderful one"
"Matt and his family were absolutely amazing hosts. The BNB is an easy drive to Cooperstown Dreams Park and All Star Village. Room was great and the breakfast and company were even better. Highly recommend!!"
"This place was awesome, super clean, friendly staff best price around per night and only 4 min away from Cooperstown ASV. May not look the best on the outside but a great place to stay overall. Highly recommended. "
"Easy check in/out. Clean. Informative and helpful front desk👍👍
My only 2 criticisms would be that the bathroom sink water would not get hot and the shower water temps were great but water pressure was weak."
"This B&B is a jewel. We really enjoyed the coziness, the friendliness of the owners and the comfort of our accommodations. I really need to go back to New York"
"This was such a sweet and serene location! The studio we stayed in was perfectly clean, beautiful decorated and just the size we needed for this family trip. The view of the woods was stunning and though we weren't able to use the pool this time around we will be coming to stay again and take advantage.
Just beautiful ❤️"
