Hilton Garden Inn NYC Financial Center/Manhattan Downtown
10/10 Excellent
"Very good location, nice staff, very nice room and comfortable bed.
It would be better if they didnt charge 3$ per small bottle of water for the room. For the amount of room charge and being a Hilton they should offer a complimentary bottle per person per room for every day of stay. Other hotels like the Marrior Courtyard hotels do this for sure."
"I can't imagine that you could find a better location in midtown if you're visiting NYC as a tourist. You're next to Herald Square and Koreatown. There are restaurants and shops on your block, and a subway entrance on the corner. The Empire State Building is the next street over. The lobby is nice and the rooms are clean, if small, but that shouldn't be surprising for a NYC hotel room. Perfect for families. The AC works. The bathroom has no problems. The TV connects with your apps and the wifi is good. The hallways are a little sterile and the ice machines are on every 3rd floor, so getting ice may require an elevator ride."
"A great pick for a couple looking to explore NYC. We stayed 6 nights in July. Very close to Bryant Park which is a great spot to start the day. A couple blocks from Times Square so not too much traffic and noise.
We had a single king bed room which was smaller than we're used to, but larger than most other NYC rooms in this price range. Shower water pressure was spectacular. Soundproof room was silent at night. AC worked well. Staff was attentive to the small requests we had (extra towels, in-room coffee replenishment) and pre check-in baggage check was complimentary. Espresso martinis from the lobby bar were delicious. We did not eat at the restaurant.
No frills, high-quality, clean. Strongly recommend."
"This is our 13th time staying here. Plan to return again Love this hotel. First time I had to book 2 queen beds and wish it toilet wasn’t extremely low & bathroom fan would be put in along with a stand up shower. Not sure if it’s because of queen beds as usually stay in room with king bed. Hope they update bathroom to comfort height toilet seats and stand up showers with fan. "
"we stayed here for the first time and loved it! Great location - walkable to many shops and attractions, and easy access to grand central. Clean rooms, fresh towels everyday, and staff were very friendly! "
"the rooms are small but clean and comfortable with plenty of transportation and food options staff were great and will let you check in early if rooms are available"
"Excellent location adjacent to the Empire State Building. Easy access to subway, not far from Macy’s.
An all round excellent base for a great holiday."
"My friends and I loved this hotel! Very easy access to stores, dinning and night life! MTA around the corner. Loved it, we would stay here again. We are recent college graduates and we wanted to be downtown, this is the place to be! (The cheese sandwiches at the bodega next door are the best)"
"What a place and for a reasonable place the subway is three streets away depending on which one you want to hop on. Joes pizza and two bros is near by for a quick slice. The nightlife is also in the same hotel. "
"I was here on a quick business trip and just needed something clean and central. The room was spotless and, the space was well used. I appreciated the desk and fast internet. "
"Our stay at The Lexington Autograph was wonderful! The staff were very friendly, welcoming, and accommodating. The beds were comfortable and the hotel was only a short walk away from most attractions. "
