I like Lockhart a lot. Cool little Texas town that strives to modernize and make things more fun for younger generations while being true to their heritage. I won't stay in that hotel again though, I can tell you that much for certain.

The town itself seemed great. We did not spend much time there since we ended up cutting our trip short, but would definitely visit again!
"Everything was awesome except for the noisy AC unit which ran almost continuously to keep the room comfortable. The bathroom was spectacular and private even with both of us in the room together. Housekeeping services and amenities like the bar, coffee shop and valet were all lovely. The atmosphere was also rather upscale which I thoroughly enjoyed. The view of downtown from my room was just ok, but I wasn't there to enjoy the view! "
