"Great Stay with kids - walk to the park, eat next door at iconic Yecks drive in, short drive into town and the state park for swimming. Kids really enjoyed their stay.
Also only a short drive to Mackinac City, the Michilimackinac Fort and St. Ignace across the mighty Mac. Bridge. "

"Horrible. Sealing cracked and paint is literally falling as if there was at one point a leak. Lampshade barely holding onto the wire rim of the lamp. The WORST PART? tub WOULDNT DRAIN, which meant no showers or baths available. We had the room for 2 days, Waited 1.5 days for them to tell us the drain was fixed ONLY FOR IT TO IMMEDIATELY BACK UP. management said we would have to take up our issues with 3rd party booking agent. NEVER RETURNING TO THIS LOCATION."

"Check in was very confusing. We had to go to another location to check in. Parking was non existent and the location was dirty and trashy. Once in our room, it smelled awful. The bed was hard as a rock. When we arrived there was a group outside playing music loudly and being loud themselves. By 11pm this was still happening."

"Martin at the front desk was amazing. He heloed out with many questions we had and even gave us baggies to clean up after our dog when we ran out.
The view from cabin was beutiful. The cabins are older and some things are outdated but the view makes up for it in my opinion. With a few updates these cabins would be one of the best locations to stay in the area."

"The only complaint I have was the carpet in our room felt a little damp when we checked in, but I'm not sure if thats because they had cleaned the carpets or if it was the humidity in the air since our AC wasnt on yet. Seemed to be fine the next day. We did also get a wake up knock at around 10am for towels which I didn't enjoy since it was our day to sleep in. But otherwise it was a great stay. Super quick walk to the main street and the ferry. And the beach was steps away from our patio/balcony. We also enjoyed having two separate sleeping areas as I am a light sleeper and my husband snores."
