"Elevator does not work. No refrigerator in the room, thank heaven I grabbed a small cooler to take with me. It rained, TV went out, Internet went out. Key cards stopped working several times. "

Every year we come into town for the annual Cereal City festivities. We look forward to visiting family and old friends. Battle Creek has always been home to us but becomes increasingly difficult to show our children the hometown we grew up in.

"Staff was very accommodating. Couldn't figure out how to operate the television so the clerk offered to come down and show me. In the meanwhile, he changed the batteries in the remote for me, and problem solved. Appreciated his effort/offer to resolve my issue."
"This was probably the cleanest hotel Ive ever seen. Even comparing it to rooms that cost 3 times as much. The room was clean, the laundry room/gym was clean, the lobby, the lot. And the people at the counter were not only very nice they were engaging! The ones on July 27 and 28 were especially! And the guy on the 29th I thknk was the manager was super helpful, too. We would have stayed another night but they were full. They have a huge assortment of snacks you can purchase, free use of the washers and dryers, a decent gym. Stuff you can borrow like more cookware and puzzles etc. They told every guest about all the amenities, too. I can see why they were full!"
"We enjoyed everything about the property. The staff were friendly. The property was clean. It had plenty of room for trailer, truck, and motorcycle parking. The parking lot was well-lit. The only issue that we had was the AC was not working very well and the rooms were hot. The breakfast and the dinner were a little expensive. But overall we enjoyed our stay and we will stay there again."
"I have stayed here many times. I will continue to do so. The room was super clean and the staff has always been very nice. It is close to Starbucks, Meijer, and many fast food places. The lovely town of Plainwell is minutes away and the neighborhoods are great to walk through."
"Customer service are polite and stay out of your business. I can be a little loud and I have visitors a lot and I have not received any complaints or reprimands from the staff or managers or anyone. "
"We don’t need a lot of frills but we value clean, well maintained contemporary properties that have attentive staff and comfortable beds. This one ticks all the boxes so we’ll be back. "
"I'm impressed about how clean this hotel was, the staff was very friendly too. I would definitely recomend it to anyone looking for a very covenient and on budget stay without sacrificing cleanliness.

"The hotels was great. Im not a city person and its very crowded there. Parking was hard to understand and when picking up at front door there is not a lot of room."
"Building is lovely and well kept. My only question was why there was not any room cleaning after the second night stay. No garbage pickup or towel change out at all. Initially when I looked online at the hotel details it showed daily room service. This was disappointing. Also it would have been nice to have some recommendations of local food Venus."
"Best stay in a hotel ever for myself and my fiance. Only complaint is the day shift front desk woman was not friendly, no greeting or welcome and looked like she did not want to be there, on her cellphone most of the time. Overnight gentleman was very helpful and much nicer. Overall a wonderful stay"
