"We stayed for 2 nights. We walked to Fenway the first night. For the second day, we took a trip through the public garden and Boston Common. The hotel has good public transit access and is a reasonable distance to downtown. Even mid-range properties in Boston can go for a high price. This hotel is an old property that has been renovated. The room is spacious, but spartan. The bathroom was clean and functional. The hotel was well maintained. But it was very reasonable in terms of amenities and cost for this area. We would stay there again work or leisure."
"We loved staying here! We enjoyed an afternoon at the pool (make sure to reserve chairs before you arrive!!) and the location was perfect for walking around and finding great bars, restaurants and entertainment nearby! "
"Great food next door at Elephant and Castle . The potato and leek casserole was excellent. The elevator is small and the rooms are very close together. It gets loud if you have noisy neighbors. "
"The staff were super friendly. Loved the black woman with the locs! I had to quickly find a hotel because my flight got cancelled and when I arrived, she gave me a bit of history about it because I was nervous about not having a bathroom in my room to which she was able to upgrade me for $40. The room was micro but actually perfect for one or two people on the go. I would def come back and stay again!"
"Aloft is in a very good location downtown and 15 minutes or so from most desirable attractions; Fenway a bit farther but very doable by UBER. Hotel staff super friendly, clean, modern workout room and overall good vibe. Room leans a little toward the boutique side. Again, clean and comfortable but smaller- just so you don’t get your hopes up when, like us, you choose what you think is a larger room. Stay here for sure and it’ll be money well spent."
"Friendly atmosphere, comfortable rooms with nice amenities. Staff members were very helpful. Location was close to points of interest. Great place to stay!! "
"Only con which in my opinion isn’t truly a con is the rooms are small. Get the window upgrade totally worth it. Other then a small room everything is else is outstanding. Comfortable bed, easy check in and check out, everything can be done from provided iPad, common areas are wonderful!. Excellent location! Walk to Fenway! step out to Newbury street! Rail station across the street! I would definitely 100% stay again. "
"Very nice hotel in Cambridge MA just across the Charles River from Boston. Fenway Park is about 1.4 miles away and walked there in about 25 minutes. Walking route takes you through Boston University property. Great walking/jogging/bike path right in front of hotel along Charles River. Upgrade to the river view - it’s worth it to be able to look across at Boston!! Nice places to eat inside hotel as well! Great stay - will look to stay there again!! "
