"First time staying at this hotel and I must say that the first impression was everything. The room was as advertised and more on the website. The staff was friendly and very courteous. I will definitely be staying again next time I’m in the area. "

"Easy check in with a most friendly & helpful gal. Room was clean & comfortable. Breakfast offered enough variety. Would definitely stay again if in the area."

"Food was average and similar to other hotel chains offering a complimentary breakfast.
Beds were good, however a bit softer than my personal preference. "

"The only thing was matter to our family is to have comfortable staying. All other amenities were not useful to us on this trip. We stayed 3 nights with complimentary breakfast which we didn't attend.
Room was comfortable. Linens changed timely fashion. Couldn't ask for more."

"I really like this hotel - the only downside is that they turn off the door key cards randomly - especially annoying in the morning when you’re trying to pack up your vehicle. This was my third stay here and I recommend it highly (except for the key card annoyance). "

"Stay was good. Breakfast was very basic, cereal, yogurt, waffles, coffee, orange juice, fruit. Thank goodness McDonald's is in walking distance. Customer service was great. "

"The hotel was under significant renovations. They did provide complimentary breakfast items . But lobby and bistro were not available. Beds were comfortable but not the pillows which were uniformly flat. "

"We had a renovated room and it was wonderful. The shower door is hard to open and close, using a curved design is a weird choice.
Our instructions to get around the construction to our room weren’t very good. Walked around the entire hotel, through the courtyard, and finally through the construction area to find the correct elevator. Signage would be helpful.
The 2 guys working over night were fantastic and very friendly! Having snacks available for purchase at the front desk was clutch. "

"I enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The staff was welcoming upon arrival. I wish I would’ve noticed that you had to pay for parking even thought they give you 50% off. I would’ve chose another place.
THE MICROWAVES HAVE LOCKS ON THEM. For some odd reason I left my food in there after checking out because I wasn’t aware.
But ultimately the hotel is nice. "
"I only stayed because of a delayed flight and was at the Hyatt for about 8 hours to sleep. It was very convenient to have the free Dulles shuttle. The room was very nice and clean and the bed was very comfortable. "
"I used to live in suburban MD, outside Washington, DC. Upon retirement, I moved to DE. I visit "The DMV" and Baltimore often, to see longtime friends, attend sports, eat ethnic cuisines, and for much tourism in two cool metro areas. I use Hotels.com often. When booking my travel, I (understandably) see more expensive rates closer in to downtown. While I can usually find "deals," I check places further out.
I have frequently stayed at Linthicum Heights hotels by Marshall BWI Airport. Hotels that cater to airport traffic, but only a 15-minute drive into Baltimore. Good value.
As for DC, lately I have been using hotels near Dulles International Airport. Yes, these are further out, but well connected by Northern Virginia's extensive highways. Arlington, NW Washington are 30-45 minutes away. I have found hotel deals near Dulles, in Herndon, Sterling, or Chantilly. Often "fully refundable" when booking, with comfy rooms, free breakfast and parking.
My recent stay at Hampton Inn Washington-Dulles fit this bill. Great rate for highly-rated hotel. Comfy room. Tasty breakfast. Near IAD, Udvar-Hazy Air and Space Annex, and hotel offers shuttle to both. Lots of good restaurants close by. Other tourism attractions nearby, like VA wine country, Civil War sites.
Staff was courteous, helpful. Night reception Rebecca assisted when I called re: late arrival. Jessica cheerfully checked me in when I got there, and Kyle gave mobility-challenged me extra time on departure. Thank You! "
"Really beautifully finished hotel, bar and evening meal was outstanding. Expensive to park overnight ($25) with forced valet - no place to park in a very busy area. The hotel was very new and high-end, really impressed with the decor and common areas as well as the room, well done."
"Everything was very clean, beds were comfortable. Room air conditioning was perfect and you are able to control it. The room has wonderful black out blinds for privacy. On a side note , because it is a 2 star , be mindful to bring your own soap and shampoo. Some is provided but you will for sure need more than that. Lighting is sufficient, Microwave, stove top, sink, tv, fridge. Make sure to bring anything you want to cook with or eat on.
Traveling as a family ,safty is always a must when we stay somewhere. My husband and son walked around the property and even walked to get takeout just to explore around 8pm. They said it was a nice area. Its close to the mall and alot of other options.
All in all ot was a nice stay and for the cost it was well worth it. The convince of checking in later was suc h a bonus as were were checking in around 7:30 pm and there cut off is 11pm. The lobby was clean and we were immediately welcomed and checked in. The staff as friendly and helpful."
"Kind of strange that there is no handicap paring in the garage and no entrance without stairs form the garage. I saw people struggling with a stroller. Also $33 a night is too high."
"Only negative was that we had to pay $45 per night for parking which was not clearly stated in the information provided on Expedia. But really nice lobby and bar at first floor, great stay."
"The accommodations were extremely comfortable. I do need to point out that there were small ants in the room, primarily on the bathroom counter. I also need to point out and congratulate the honesty and integrity of your staff. Not realizing that we left an expensive piece of jewelry in the room until an hour after our departure; we called and your staff found the item and we were able to retrieve it later that day. "
"I loved everything about my stay. My room style has influenced how I 'd like to design my tiny house [smile]. I will return with my family next time."
