"It was ok for a few days. Hot tub was ok it worked, but not very hot. location was good for our purposes. We just slept there, not a place you would want to hang out. The breakfast was not good at all. We just went out for breakfast because it was barely edible, with not much variety. "

"We didn’t stay the night we left at 8pm. My daughter and I did not feel safe. There were a group of men staying on the floor above us and they were hanging out smoking pot on their balcony. When we came back from a walk they made us uncomfortable so we left. Also chose this hotel because of the outdoor pool. The pool is not even filled with water. It was an overall very disappointing experience. "

"Really nice location - beautiful view of Sturgeon Bay, great close access to the Ice Age Trail. Not too far of a drive into town either. King bedrooms a little nicer than the queen bedrooms. "

"My husband and I celebrated 25 years of marriage at the Chanticleer. It was so quiet, relaxing and a much needed time of reconnection for us. The breakfast was delicious, delivered to our door every morning at the requested time. We highly recommend and would love to come back again! "

"Mouse infestation, dirty sheets, and hair covered floors did not make for a good stay. We saw three mice Saturday night. Our bag had to be kept in our garage upon return to ensure the problem didn’t spread to our house. "

Sturgeon Bay is a great area to visit during the summer time. It is very expensive to visit there. But we overall had a great time outside of the hotel we stayed at.

Interesting area. Lots of coffee shops and bakeries. Fun small parks to walk around.
"Very tasty, homestyle breakfast and friendly, nice staff. Love the history of the place to include antique- like decor. The yards are decorated in an English style plantings of many, beautiful perineals. Housed in a quiet residential area and walking distance to shops, restaurants and bars. We would stay again. Confortable room

"Provides a place to stay with unique rooms different from the standard big chains. Aside from check in, limited staff for property functions like an air BNB. "
"This is our go-to stay with family when up in Door County. Love the decks. Love the pools. Clean and safe. A great family hotel near all the things in Door County! "
"Loved the location of the property. Right next to the cutest coffee and breakfast place called the big easy. Lots of shops and dinner options. Rooms are spotless, decor is on the older side but it was spotless. Showers and bathrooms are on the smaller side as well but still so clean! Staff were friendly and welcoming. It was a wonderful resort! Definitely family friendly as well! "
"The property was amazing. Just a one night stay, but our kids enjoyed the pool. Outside, beautiful gas firepit to sit and relax while overlooking Lake Michigan. "
"We had such a wonderful stay at Parkwood Lodge in Door County! From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with the warmest welcome — the staff was incredibly kind, friendly, and helpful throughout our entire stay.
Our room was spotless and cozy, and the lodge is in a fantastic location, close to so many great spots in Door County while still feeling peaceful and relaxing.
One of our favorite parts was the pool and hot tub area — so clean and well-maintained! They even have a convenient shower right off the pool/hot tub area so you can rinse off, which is such a thoughtful touch.
We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay. We’re already looking forward to our next visit. Thank you, Parkwood Lodge, for making our trip so enjoyable!"
"Having never stayed at the Waterbury we didn't know what to expect but ended up enjoying our stay there. The hotel overall is kept clean. The 2 bedroom loft plus pullout bed provided decent room for 5 of us, including 3 adult children. The grill and gas fire pit with seating area out front is very nice. Both pools (indoor/outdoor) and hottub were clean and provided an enjoy spot to spend time in the water.
The grounds of the resort are maintained very well too. Only the landscape islands in the parking lot were the exception as there were overgrown and appeared as if they may be waiting for an overhaul at some point in the near future. If not, we'd recommend it as that was the one main area we'd recommend receive an update.
The staff was very friendly and accommodating as well and made us feel very welcome.
We will definitely consider staying here in the future."
