But the price is good, the location excellent, and the breakfast exemplary. So all in all, we give it five stars. And will stay there again when we visit Mariefred."

Being able to open the window for fresh air was so appreciated. The hotel areas are comfortable and spacious. "Great location, near to a 7am-10pm supermarket. Also great with 24/7 access to guest kitchen and also coffee machine (press button with choice of coffee, hot water, hot chocolate, cafe latte etc) with take away cups!

Summertime can be a little loud at nights with street singing at nts nearby, but adds to experience. This summer (2025) was very hot and no air conditioner but wonderful staff provided a grrat fan!

Outdoor dining is available weather permitting, grounds are lovely. Once checked in however, the room is perfectly adequate, and, as it turned out, acceptably quiet, given that there is a pub downstairs and it was a weekend. Breakfast is fine (can't speak for the cooked food as we didn't sample it). There is carparking, but it isn't free. "
