"We did get a room in the side building, not shown on the website. It was old and more like a hostel. We paid more than sek, 1500,- for the room, and it was not at all worth the money. We were so disapointed , we do not expect a hostel with a tiny room when they charge sek 1500,-"

"Hotel J is in a beautiful quiet setting on Nacka Strand, with lovely views out over the water and close to the regular boat service. My stay was very peaceful and relaxing. I loved the breathwork session at the hotel on Saturday morning and i also had an amazing massage.

Ventilation in the rooms below par, bad air and very high temperatures. Generally good service but a few of the girls in the reception were not very service minded. "We had a superior King room which I'm glad we did as it wasn't particularly big bur was quite quirky, bed was comfortable and huge, breakfast was superb and Hotel was very central my only gripe was the lifts of which there are 4, one is used expressly for staff, one was broken during the whole of our stay (5 days) and one of the remaing 2 broke which left one lift for a hotel with 13 floors"

"A great place to stay for a city break in Stockholm. So easy to get to on the Arlanda Express from the airport but despite the location right next to the central station it was really quiet. There was an international conference on at the conference centre whilst we were there yet the hotel still didn’t feel too busy.
The staff were really friendly and professional and the breakfast was lovely. Within good walking distance to the city centre and the old town the location was perfect for us. The whole trip exceeded our expectations; there’s so much to enjoy in Stockholm city centre and the Radisson Blu Waterfront was superb."
"I loved our stay at Hotel Rival. We traveled Scandinavia for over 2 weeks and this was my favorite hotel out of all the ones we stayed at. The room was spacious and the bed comfy. We returned to our room after our day sightseeing with turn down service and sparkling water on the bed stand. The breakfast was delicious and had made to order choices as well as a full buffet. It also had AC which is not always available at Scandinavian hotels. We rented bikes from the hotel and biked all around Stockholm. Thank you Hotel Rival for a wonderful 4 night stay! "

Service was wonderful and nothing was too much trouble for any of the staff.
Our room was clean comfortable and spacious containing everything that we need.
Breakfast was excellent with an array of food catering for everyone’s taste. The only disappointment was that you had to pay extra if you wanted a fried egg.
We had dinner in the restaurant on two occasions which was very good and reasonably priced for Stockholm. The staff were very good and attentive.

Excellent location for exploring Gamla Stan, historical attractions public transport, walks by the water. Shopping malls, restaurants and lots of little city gardens, for cooler shaded breaks.
The hotel staff were exceptionally polite and helpful. My room and facilities were clean, comfortable, quiet and safe.
My breakfast was included and it was amazing with great choice, and although no real veiws in it's side street location, it was still pleasant to be able to choose to have an outside table.
I purchased the little teddy bear (it's a nice touch that they place one in every room) as the money goes to charity 😊
