"Qwantani is a beautiful oasis in the mountains with a variety of activities to help you explore and connect with the land. The accommodations are simple but comfortable. The staff were all friendly and helpful. A lovely pool to cool off in. The location is stunning, with a fantastic view of the surrounding mountains and dam. The only catch is you have to drive about 30-40 minutes on a dirt road with potholes to get there! But completely worth the drive!!"

"Extortionately high price. While the hotel is clean it is in dire need of a renovation. It has no facilities and is really just a clean bed for the night. It does not warrant the high price. Entrance and downstairs fire exit was locked and I had to go to the upstairs fire exit to leave in the morning. "

"We had a 1 night stay over at the Golden Gate hotel. We initially thought we booked at the hotel but was surprised that we had booked a chalet. The chalet was perfect with its own braai (BBQ) outside and all the amenities required for a proper self catering experience. Would definitely stay there again as it about a 15 minute scenic drive to Clarens."
