"Pasamos tres días increíbles en Tierra Atacama y no podríamos estar más contentos con la experiencia. El hotel tiene una infraestructura excelente, perfectamente integrada con el entorno, y ofrece todas las comodidades que uno espera de un lugar de este nivel. Desde el momento en que llegamos, el servicio fue impecable. Todo el personal —desde los meseros hasta los conductores— fue siempre amable, atento y dispuesto a ayudar con una sonrisa. Un agradecimiento especial a Chris, quien se encargó de que nuestra estadía fuera excepcional en todo momento, y a Amaro, uno de nuestro guías, que fue simplemente bárbaro: conocedor y apasionado por lo que hace. Las excursiones fueron impresionantes, bien organizadas y adaptadas a nuestros intereses y ritmo. En resumen, super recomendado. Tierra Atacama no solo ofrece un lugar hermoso donde hospedarse, sino también una experiencia completa y profundamente memorable. ¡Volveríamos sin dudarlo!"

"Beautiful property and great staff. Parking was tight but do-able. 15 min walk into town. Our room was right by the entry / lobby / main breakfast area and as such wasn’t as quiet as we would have liked."

"Hotel Kimal is a fabulous place as a relaxing and convenient base for your San Pedro de Atacama adventures! The staff are friendly and helpful and the courtyard and rooms are beautiful and comfortable. Someone put a lot of thought and care into building and maintaining this hotel. The breakfast that comes with your stay is a marvelous and varied buffet of fresh breads and fruit, yogurt and toppings, and made to order eggs. The restaurant is excellent! "

"Property was really good and the host was really friendly and accomodating even though we don't speak the language. They prepared breakfast for us every morning and cleaned the rooms every day too. Small property so you can talk to other guests as well. Waking up and eating breakfast with the view of desert and mountains in the backdrop was really special too. The place is 5 mins walk from main market street so you are perfectly tucked away from peak tourist traffic and still close enough to get out and do your stuff. The airport transfer services come up to the hostel and most of the tours can pick you up from this location. Ones which cannot will generally pick up from a location which can not be more than 10 moinutes walk. We visited in winter and from our experience, two things that I want to highlight. 1. you are very close to the driest place on the earth so pack lotion and 2 because you are in the middle of a desert and temperatures drop significantly at night its better to pack warm clothes to sleep in. Room was colder than a usual hotel room."

"The staff was extremely nice and helpful. The room was great, the beds were comfy and there were heaters for the cold nights. The breakfast was very good and on the day we left it was too early so they packed up a breakfast for ua to take. The only two negative things is that they have a restaurant in the inner courtyard which has music playing until around 11pm, so if you are trying to sleep early this can get on the way. Also, the shower had was a bit broken and kept turning to the left side."

"This hotel is a beautiful property located in an amazing town. The property is immaculate, well maintained and very comfortable. We love the minimalist aspect of the room including the pleasing absence of a television. The staff is very professional and very helpful. Each days activities required a box lunch and each day this was ready for us before we left no matter how early. 5-stars for this property. "

"We looked at far more expensive, all-inclusive accommodations in San Pedro de Atacama before discovering Hotel Desertica. What a find! They truly had everything you need for a relaxing stay in the desert at a very reasonable price. The staff is friendly and professional, the free breakfast was fresh and abundant, and it was great to unwind at the restaurant at night after a long day exploring this incredible part of the world. This was a late-autumn visit, so we did not swim -- but it was lovely to sit by the pool and soak in the sun for a few hours here and there. They are super-well located, just steps to everything you need. Highly recommend!"

"Fabulous 4 night stay. This hotel is a quiet oasis extremely close to the town centre. The rooms were lovely we had one with a small outside terrace a great way to relax after a day of touring. The staff were all amazing and couldn’t have been more helpful. You will not be dissapointed if you book this hotel."

"Had a fantastic stay here. The room was spacious, clean and felt new. The kitchen was spotless, had all basic condiments like oil, sugar, salt and coffee. The utensils were new and perfect. Loved the courtyard too."

"The Peumayen Atacama / Hostal & Cabaña is a family-run hotel located a few kilometers south of SPDA just east of the entrance to Valle de la Luna. If you desire being immersed in the dust and congestion of San Pedro proper, this property is not for you. It is a large compound with comfortable rooms, friendly staff, large common spaces, large shared kitchen/dining facility, pool and game room. It is gated & secure with plenty of covered parking (yes, you will need a car for best access to sites in and around SPDA and use of hotel /facilities). "
