"The property had everything I needed, including a full kitchen, sitting room, immaculate bedroom and bathroom. The room itself was very comfortable. Staff was extremely helpful and patient when I couldn't work out where my room was. The perfect stay!"

"We enjoyed our three night stay at The Twelve hotel in Barna. We decided to try staying outside of Galway and used bus and taxi to get in and out of town.
The hotel is very nice. The room is spacious (we had a King suite). The morning breakfast was excellent.
While Barna was not particularly walkable, we were able to take the city bus both into Galway to explore the city and take an excursion to the Cliffs of Moher, as well as to the ferrys to Aran Islands.

"Sent too many emails so some details were missed. Otherwise very nice place.
Some road noise though. "

"Overall the place seemed worn and tired. The pots, dinnerware, glassware and cutlery were not clean. Would recommend a disposable dishcloth, a drying rack for clothing, some hangers and a smaller table in the kitchen so it can be used for 4. "

"The property is self-check in and self-serve. If you have poor internet connectivity, getting in is tricky. The room is pretty sparse compared to even a budget motel. Two beds. No table or desk or chairs. Basically only comfortable to sleep and bathe. The hotel could do with a few more basics in this regard. Also the beds are firm to the point of discomfort and the lack of A/C is problematic. "

"Check in was easy. Very convenient location just off the busy streets. Easy to walk to main tourist attractions. There was a portable AC unit which was nice but it wasn’t installed properly and which was funny. Still, glad to have it, made us much more comfortable. Bathroom had a funky smell but looked clean so maybe the smell was from outside, coming in through the window. "

"Eyre Townhouse exellent location especially for travellers to Galway via train or coach as just 10 mins walk from Ceannt station. It's located off Eyre Square. Only downside is noise from passing traffic at night. Breakfast wasn't available as their café next door was closed when I visited."

"As mentioned in other reviews, there is street noise, but the hotel provides ear plugs. We don"t mind staying up until the noise dies down but if you like to go to bed early, you might want to find a hotel farther from the Latin Quarter. Rooms are very small due to the historic building but manageble for a 2 night stay. Breakfast had a nice spread of yogurts, hardboiled eggs, cheese and breads. Staff were very helpful. "

"Bar/restaurant in hotel was excellent and beautiful atmosphere. With the downtown festivals going on, it was nice to be in an area with less people. Would definitely recommend for a stay in Galway. "
"Hotel was awesome. Staff was super helpful and just so nice. Walking distance to downtown. only downside was room was a little to hot they did fix the AC unit the next day."
"The room we had was spacious, clean and well stocked. The space seemed dated but everything worked well. We were not able to turn the temperature down below 19c which was on the warm side for us. Staff were lovely and the in hotel restaurant was decent, some lower priced options would have been nice. "
"I stayed at The Dean for five nights and it is a fantastic hotel. Fun, hip, spotless, well decorated, helpful staff, excellent facilities, and a great location. I love this hotel! "
"A great location and great amenities. There during the horse races so it was very busy. the staff did a great job of making sure things worked efficiently. The proximity to the train and coach stations was a real plus."
