On a lower level towards the garden and private parking you find a little kitchen where breakfast will be served. Very friendly & helpful owner, spotless clean, great comfort. Many restaurants within 10 min drive in St.Avold. Highly recommended."

"There’s no restaurant at the hotel but there are plenty within fifteen minute drive including a Michelin/starred Japanese restaurant you’ll need to book well in advance Otherwise Norah’s gardens are idyllic with egg-laying chickens wandering around occasionally chased by a dog or a granddaughter and fruit from the orchard that grandmother uses to make jam that is served at breakfast…like a location for a French movie"

"The most beautiful location, the building and the welcome was perfect. My kids and dog loved being in the freedom of the countryside. We didn’t have to travel too far for an evening meal. The chateau has such wonderful charm and was clean and extremely comfortable. I had such a good night sleep. My kids slept really well too. The breakfast in the morning was absolutely exceptional! Thank you so much, we have recommended here to lots of people already ☺️"

Let means that there’s traffic and that people tend to sometimes forget that they can be overheard later at night. But otherwise, a good stay as usual. "

"The air conditioning barely worked. The supposedly great restaurant was “on vacation” - during peak tourism season! There was no extra lock on my room door or chain for security. Although I hung out the sign saying I did not want housekeeping, the housekeeping staff opened my door (because there was no way to lock it) while I was undressed so I had to yell at them to stop. The light switches are so complicated that even the staff found it difficult to explain them. If there was a safe for valuables it was cleverly concealed. And the “director” (manager) of the hotel was too arrogant to make time to speak with me about my concerns. The staff were nice enough, but the management is off the charts stupid, arrogant, or both. This place does not deserve your business."
