"The lodge is amazing, the room was comfortable. There was no ice available unless you got it from the kitchen due to the ice machines being out of service. Our fridge in our room broke while we were out for the day so we lost the few perishable items we had in it, had to get a new fridge. The TV remote didn't work properly, nor did the replacement. Overall the staff was very receptive to our issues and worked to resolve, no staff complaints at all! The food in the restaurant was outstanding...

"Absolutely amazing vacation for our family! We enjoyed the pool, relaxed in the hot tub, and loved the comfy bed. It was very peaceful and we had a great time. Everything was extremely clean and the directing staff was very friendly and helpful. Definitely recommended staying here! "

Stayed in the cliffside with very little complaints I would 10/10 stay here again. Walking distance to downtown and always having a place to park nearby especially during busy tourist days is major plus. "

"The place was cute and homey, but internet & TV didn't work each night. Had to notify owner who tried to help, but it took a long time to get it on. Tuesday & Wednesday were not able to get internet or TV at all. Maid came over to address problem, but she wasn't able to get it on either.

"Great stay. Even with temperatures hovering around 100, our room stayed cool. Quiet grounds, well kept.Great pool and jacuzzi and play area! Room was fine. The staff was outstanding - answered any questions about the area and the facilities. Great attention to detail, even remembering our dog's name. It's little things like that make a place the kind of place you want to come back to.
The only negative was the wifi was spotty and weak; probably because of where our room was, but it would be nice if they could boost the power a bit. We probably spent more time in the room than we normally would have because of the extreme heat. Overall this was a wonderful stay and I highly recommend it."

The hotel is of course old (1905) but is charming and well maintained, our bed was very comfortable and we had a nice jacuzzi bathtub in our room. I would definitely recommend this hotel."
