"They overbooked my room. I had reserved nine nights here. They overbooked my room for the first three so I had to stay somewhere else for those nights. They have wifi, but they turn it off around 1030/11pm every night. There is a man who is onsite 24 hours, but I wouldn't say he's attending to things 24 hours. He does need to sleep."

It should be understood that it is difficult for non Spanish speakers at this hotel, and misunderstandings can arise if the sole means of communication is via translator apps. The only thing to note is that we rented a car and arrived very late at night, and the turn off the main road to the hotel is through a gate down a very dark, dirt road. It would’ve been nice to know that if you’re arriving at night! The surrounding towns are very small, but we found good food options nearby. We loved our quiet stay at Norte!"

Quiet oasis short walk away from noisy Mancora centre. Huge terrace to have breakfast, which was simple but filling.
Rooms are spacious and air-conditioned, with comfortable bedding. Big shower cubicle.
Staff is very responsive, my Spanish is not the greatest, so sometimes things got lost in translation, but we managed.

Gustavo even arranged all my transportation to and from the airport.
They were very quick to get me whatever I needed and went over and above by actually escorting me to the market to get some provisions.
The hot tub was next level and I used it almost every day.
The grounds are beautiful with blossoming flowers and trees and the wall to wall windows in the space made me feel like I was living outdoors.
