"Bin in bathroom had previous occupants rubbish. Bin in bedroom not emptied during entire stay.
Pubic hairs in corner of bathroom, still there 5 days later.
Sheets not changed for 5 nights despite cut elbow blood on sheets on first night and 27-30 degree heat.
If opened window before 10pm fumes from next door extractor fan enveloped room and no air con available just fan for 30 degree heat.

Parking is a bit tight for some of the ‘garage’ spaces (I have a v90) but thankfully I managed to grab on of the alternative spaces in the car park shortly after arriving. Aalst is such a nice and relaxing place with Tower Hotel being a 2 minute walk to the shopping precinct and lots of restaurants and bars. "
"Lovely location, with nice grounds and the older part of the complex is spectacular. The newer part provided a spacious suite of rooms with kitchenette and dual aspect living room (it forms two sides of a quadrangle), for our family. Being in the roof meant that the window sills were low and these open fully, not an issue with older children. Breakfast is available in the older part of the complex, the coffee beans are locally roasted and resultant coffee delicious. Our Host was an encyclopaedia of local information and directed us to some local areas of interest. Recommended."

The hotel was perfect for this we didn’t arrive until 11.30pm and the keys were ready for us and the parking was plentiful. Breakfast was great I had a delicious omelette. We jumped into an uber €15 and went into Ghent. Ghent is a wonderful city it was hosting a huge music festival. Wish we were staying longer. Back to the hotel the owners were super friendly and the place itself was lovely comfy bed and great shower. "
