The reception area is welcoming and the staff are very friendly and efficient. The bar area and restaurant are very good and there is a nice childrens play area. Outside is a lovely terrace area and pool. All in all a very nice family hotel. Couple of gripes. Firstly the car used to be free but now 13 euros per night. Considering the out of town...

"Stayed for 2 nights for parkrun. Selected the hotel as we came by train. Added bonus of the swimming pool which we used.
Had to keep the window open so it was a bit noisy and you could smell the kebab van opposite but after midnight it was quiet."

"Have stayed here many times under different ownerships. Despite always liking the hotel, I think it would be best to have a car. Breakfast staff very friendly and helpful plus a fantastic spread. Dinner though while pleasant a little limited in choice of food and wine. Doesn’t take American Express."

Considering the out of town location I cannot see the reason for this other than money making. Secondly, as with all hotels worldwide, check your bill before leaving. I had 121 euros added to my bill for laundry, which I did not use. In fairness this was immediately refunded buutttt !"

They offer a good variety of food at their breakfast for a reasonable cost, but they also had a kitchen in the basement here we could prepare and store our own food. They also have a coffee machine that was free to use between 7am-11am, whether or not you paid for their breakfast. There was a free (nonalcoholic) mini bar which was restocked each day, that was a nice touch. We didn’t use the restaurant so can’t comment. Handy onsite parking, although expensive for guests. Bed was large and comfortable - overall very happy. "
