"When we arrived there was no staff to greet us but there were instructions for easy check in. We just made a day stop on our way to another location but for the price the hotel delivered on expectation. I would definitely stay again."

"A wonderful little hotel between Parma and Reggio Emilia. A lot of character, very nice rooms, and wonderful staff. Morena, in particular, was very helpful answering all of our questions and being patient with my mediocre Italian. Will definitely stay at Hotel Tricolore again when in the area."

"We stayed here for one night with breakfast. Sitting in the evening outside with candlelight, listen to the frogs in the water bassin, hear the owls in the trees around the park. We spent a beautiful night there. Comfortable rooms, lovely decorated. Beautiful park, arranged with a lot of old and tall trees. Adele told us a lot about the house's and the family's history, made a great brekfast at the terrace and gave us the feeling of coming home. The villa is a 100% proposal for those who love...

"If you want to experience the life and landscape in the Appenines, this is a beautiful place. Experience an old family house, feel the history, the atmosphere of the house, and a marvelous host. It is very quiet and beautiful, away from the busyness of the cities. Nice trails or drives to go on."

"Posizione molto suggestiva e immersa nel verde.
Struttura disponibile ad accogliere animali, senza sovrapprezzo o altre complicazioni.
Unica nota; la colazione, per quanto molto buona, non offre cibi salati (formaggio, prosciutto...)
Tuttavia il rapporto qualitĂ prezzo resta sicuramente positivo."

10/10 Excellent
"A very pleasant stay. Our bed was enormous! Lovely clean, modern room. Restaurants a d few minutes walk away. Very good breakfast and friendly, helpful staff."
"Spacious property with friendly and accommodating staff. The beds and linens were clean and comfortable. The breakfast options were also wonderful! It's walkable to the to the old town which was quite quaint and full of friendly locals! Would highly suggest this property if youre looking to explore the region and need a place to stay. "
"The hotel was exceptional, with high quality finishes, bed linen etc.
Excellent breakfast. They kindly upgraded our room.
Approx 10 -15 min walk into centre. Local area not great.
Good secure parking inside grounds and underground.
Nice grounds but be prepared with insect repellent. Could be utilised more and maybe add jacuzzi or similar.
Would recommend."
"The staff was very friendly and accommodating.
The room was cleaned. The parking was easy.
Breakfast was included and it was GREAT. We were there for four nights and appreciated everything!
"
"Note - check in hotel is near train station. This is a 10 minute walk; no cars.
Was two rooms, beds in both, two bathrooms. Clean and blocks from all the stuff! "
"Would recommend this hotel to stay in. Itâs a great location easy to walk to centre of town and the train station. My room was modern and clean, breakfast had a good selection and friendly staff "
"This was a terrific option for Parma. Inexpensive, convenient to train, big and modern room, great staff, wonderful breakfast. I literally have no idea what others have complained about. We thought the area very safe and didn't get asked for money once, unlike in Bologna and Verona. An easy walk into town and right by the leaving point for food tours. Can't recommend it enough. "
"Property condition and room excellent. Feels new and fresh! Car a necessity. Service team mediocre, many not speaking English at all. Staff frequently indifferent and somewhat impolite to guests including me, by both US and European standards. Perhaps no such interaction training. (I stayed 5 nights.)"

"Convenient to both train and bus stations, 10 minute flat walk. Lots of interesting dining options. Hotel provides guests water, juices, coffee, simple snacks throughout the day. Comfortable beds. Would recommend."
"Beautiful property, scenic. Although it wasnât clear that we could not go into the castle at all unless we signed up for a tour and there were no tours available until after we checked out the next day."
