"We had the pleasure of staying at La Posada del Arte for three nights in mid-August during our family trip to Ecuador. Our group included an 8-year-old and parents in their 90s, so finding accommodations that could suit a wide range of needs was important — and this hotel exceeded our expectations in every way.

From the moment we arrived, Carl, his wife, and staff greeted us with warmth and genuine hospitality. They quickly got us settled and were incredibly accommodating when we needed to switch one of the rooms due to mobility concerns for one of our elderly parents. Their thoughtful assistance made all the difference in making our stay comfortable and stress-free. The grounds and rooms were exceptionally clean and well-maintained. We especially loved the rooms on the second floor, which offered a spectacular view of a nearby waterfall — beautifully lit at night, creating a magical atmosphere. The beds and pillows were very comfortable, and we were pleasantly surprised by the strong water pressure in the showers — something that had been lacking in other places we stayed in Ecuador.
