My recent business trip was made all the more pleasant by my stay here. The hotel is very nice and clean, and the design is a wonderful blend of old and new. The modernized rooms are comfortable and equipped with everything you need, while the overall feel of the hotel, with its classical palace vibe, gives it a truly special character.

"Over priced. Old. The amenities were grossly exaggerated. The bathroom had a tub one has to step in and out of. Definitely not worth what I paid. Maybe half that might be fair and that’s pushing it. "

"Hotel was excellent with helpful front of house staff. Location worked for us as we could easily walk into the town center. Breakfast was very good. Only irritation was that while it is a non-smoking hotel they allow smoking on balconies and don’t separate those who want to do so from others. We had smokers next door and this precluded us getting fresh air and using the balcony.

Those were the two we were concerned about as we have mobility problems and were needing laundry to wash clothes for our cruise after our stay in grado .although there also was no restaurant or room service etc .At checkout were told that room taxes were to be paid in cash. Told my husband “another surprise “. Really shame on me for not reading the fine print. But the older clerk asked what other surprises so I mentioned no laundry...
