"A nice hotel quietly situated just outside the city but only a 25-30 minute stroll to the centre. Rooms are clean, well equipped, and comfortable. The reception area is welcoming and the staff are very friendly and efficient. The bar area and restaurant are very good and there is a nice childrens play area. Outside is a lovely terrace area and pool. All in all a very nice family hotel. Couple of gripes. Firstly the car used to be free but now 13 euros per night. Considering the out of town location I cannot see the reason for this other than money making. Secondly, as with all hotels worldwide, check your bill before leaving. I had 121 euros added to my bill for laundry, which I did not use. In fairness this was immediately refunded buutttt !"

They offer a good variety of food at their breakfast for a reasonable cost, but they also had a kitchen in the basement here we could prepare and store our own food. They also have a coffee machine that was free to use between 7am-11am, whether or not you paid for their breakfast. "We absolutely loved this hotel and can’t recommend it enough! Nestled right where the Netherlands meets Belgium, it’s truly special. What made our stay wonderful was the staff – everyone, from the hotel team to the restaurant crew, was so warm and kind. They made us feel right at home! On our very first day, we were treated to a magical double rainbow over the riverbank across from the hotel. It felt like such a lucky, happy moment! And our room had this lovely telescope – at night, we even spotted a shooting star glide past the Big Dipper. Just beautiful! The room itself was super cozy, and the restaurant? Oh, their sauces were incredible! We still can’t stop thinking about them – so tasty and expertly made. If you’re looking for a place that feels welcoming and full of lovely surprises, this is it. We wholeheartedly recommend staying here!"

J'ai adoré le petit déjeuner très varié et bien tenu (l'un de mes meilleurs petits-déjeuners en ibis, il y avait même des concombres et des tomates). La chambre 518 était spacieuse, bien agencée et avec une vue dégagée. En revanche je vous conseille de demander une chambre de l'autre côté avec des fenêtres qui s'ouvrent. Comme le stipule la description, il n'y a pas d'air conditionné (mais un ventilateur), cependant pour la température comme pour l'aération il est agréable de pouvoir ouvrir."

"We stayed in the Junior Suite. Room was very large, nice furnishings and bathroom, all clean. Only complaint was that it was a bit too dark during the day and that some things were broken/nearly broken, like the room’s door handle and one of the blinds. Staff were very friendly and helpful, both at reception, the breakfast service and the restaurant, which we both used. The breakfast service was great and dinner even better – wonderful set menu and actually quite good value given the quality of food and presentation. But the stand out was the hotel’s grounds. Surrounded by nature and set within a small valley, it really is beautiful. Given the area is great has many great walking routes, I’d really recommend visiting L.A., especially if you appreciate nature and natural beauty! "

"It's a great location on the town square with a lively restaurant below. The noise can be a little loud on the side closest to the street, but the windows when closed block much of the sound, and earplugs are offered."
