At the end of our stay we also had the unpleasant surprise of having to pay an additional $40 for finding a broken lamp in the room (value $3). My only two complaints was having to buy bottled water. I wish they had big jugs to refill like other hotels. I don’t mind paying, just hate using all the plastic. The second we set foot on the sand an extraordinarily obnoxious and aggressive man / campsite owner said he would set his Rottweilers on us which kind of put the dampers on the day."
"When you enter the property gate, you find a beautifully laid out courtyard. Reception and the dining area is small, and comfortable. The rooms are very clean and I found mine quite spacious. The owner, Juvy and her son Karl, were absolutely wonderful. They provided great advice in terms of what to see and rendered assistance regarding my transportation issues both coming to Port Barton, and leaving. The owner goes out of her way to make your stay a comfortable one. Breakfast basics are included, and if you want anything extra, the prices are very reasonable. This property is great value for money and I strongly recommend it. I’ll definitely book with them again when I return to Port Barton "
