"Noisy Japanese male groups didn't close the door and keep talking loud even in midnight. Closing doors without holding the handles was really loud and disturbing at 12am. I understand it was a nice time to hang out with friends but should shut the doors to let other customers rest properly. Do not choose the option with room chosen by the hotel."

I have never stayed at a hotel which offers performance done by staff members in the past, and it was a very fun experience. The dinner/breakfast buffet was very good and offered many local speciality items. The only thing i wish it was different was parking. They charged parking fee to guest. "If you are arriving by train, this property is about a 15 minute walk from Kochi station, which for Kochi is a fairly short walk. The location is also right next to a bus terminal, with a couple tram stops nearby as well. Good shopping is a close walk, and the castle is also only a 15 minute walk. As far as Kochi goes, this is probably as walkable as it gets.
As for the property, it is a bit older, and while the hallway had a strange smell, the room smelled fine, was clean, and had good air conditioning. Moreover, they did daily cleaning, which is always nice.
Overall I thought this was a good hotel, especially for the price."
